Lignt light heavy. Spamming heavy takes way too long & time is of the essence in CE. Jumping smashes just waste time & sometimes you miss so NEVER do them.

Heavy(14000) heavy(14000) heavy(14000) maybe heavy(14000) If your team is not full retard then you can get 3-5 heavy attacks. The light attacks do less than half of a heavy.

Damage wise there isn't much in it, but speed wise it's safer to do two L L H combos one after another (53600). You can do H H H H (56000) but I prefer the former for what it's worth.
-
Your math is dumb HHH = 42,000 LLH = 26,800 Now multiply by 4 for 4 sword Bearers HHH = 168,000 LLH = 107,200 So you are missing out on 60,800 damage to crota which is essential to taking him down.
-
My math was for L L H L L H (not one combo) and H H H H (not 3 heavy)
-
I am using HHH as a baseline. No matter what you do, the heavy only combo will do double the damage than the LLH heavy combo every time.
-
You're not getting me. You can either do LLHLLH or HHHH. You can do two combos back to back before he gets up. That's 4 full combos per sword. The beauty of the combo is that you're getting a heavy attack at the speed of a light attack, making it more time efficient than four heavy hits.
-
And you can do the heavy combo attack back to back and still do more DPS. I am just using the single combo as a base to give you an idea on the DPS difference.

I'll explain simply. I pick up the sword and run to Crota. Crota goes down. I press R1, R1, R2, R1, R1, R2. Then drop the sword and melee for invisibility. Crota gets back up. The group put him back down again. I press R1, R1, R2, R1, R1, R2. Then leap off the front and back to the group. I could do R2, R2, R2 each time for less damage, or I could try for R2, R2, R2, R2, but that's always cutting it close. Like I said; damage wise there isn't much in it, but time wise I prefer double combos.
-
R2 R2 R2 R2 crota down and again. Takes him down in 3 swords
-
Yes; R1, R1, R2, R1, R1, R2, down and again also takes him out in three swords, which is what I said originally. The difference is that you have more time to spare and escape with two combos, than you do with four heavy hits.
-
If you have half good team then it would not matter. So I guess it comes down to preference but I would rater have the extra damage a heavy does.
-
Not sure if this link works, but I just uploaded my method, if you still didn't quite understand; http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4f39eg_G4v0
-
Oh I understand but I am not so sure you do.
-
Did you manage to watch it? That's three sword carries, so both methods work out the same. I even missed a couple of hits here and there, but it didn't matter.
-
Yeah, it's down to preference. As you cannot take him out in two swords, I figured damage isn't that much of an issue, but there's no harm in playing it safe.
