9 hours of of Fist of Crota and still don't have it... Is there any hope at all now? :'(

They spawn quite quickly there. After countless tries on fist of crota,I go to skywatch and get two within 6-8 blades, first one dropped and showed on the screen, but after that my inventory must have been full because i never saw another one on screen but when I got back to the tower the second one was at the postmaster. Also, it seems you don't need to land the killing blow to get it, member of my group got one when he had shots in a blade on the moon but 100% did not land the kill shot, the person who did got nada.
