Same thing for me, getting a lot of animal's names on my Destiny that never happened until last week.
Weasel, baboon, elk seem to be most common.
No extra device is on internet. Same distance to router etc. It's so annoying. Unfortunately I can't try a wired connection.

Usually when I play with people it's much more stable. Dunno if that helps bungie to figure out the issues.
