Destiny tournaments? Destiny can't ever support this crap, everyone is wanting it to be like COD because there have been no good COD games for 3 years and they can't even play Destiny the way it's meant to be played...which is with other people on raids, strikes, story missions and dlc. Fuk tournaments for Destiny keep that crap in COD and other games better than COD, which is every game tbh

It's pretty depressing when MLG/competitive play in general is instantly associated with CoD. Shows how far MLG has truly fallen since the Halo days. We held the tournament to improve ourselves as players, gain a better understanding of how competitive Destiny could work, and to make a push for custom games to be added. And who are you to say there's a specific way for Destiny to be played? We enjoy playing human opponents, and specifically play against very capable human players to help ourselves improve. What's wrong with that? If you enjoy running raids and strikes, then that's fine. I honestly get bored after 3 or 4 strikes, but if you enjoy it, then by all means keep playing. Hardcore PvP players would just like to be able to play Destiny the way they prefer. It wouldn't affect you in the slightest.

Having tournaments with this game...if they are broadcasted then they could bring in the super sweats who only play PvP and nothing else, meaning that no one would ever play Crucible again and I couldn't have a casual game in Crucible when I need to complete bounties or when I play it with friends for fun. If you have tournaments then that could all change ruining another great game series... Like these tournaments did with COD which was good until the "MLG" tournaments started now I can barely stand COD anymore because everyone in COD games are sweats and Destiny is a completely different but tournaments will make other people hate the game...

So you want to be able to do well in PvP, without putting in the effort to learn how to play the game and outsmart other humans? Sorry, but it doesn't work like that. You're already pretty lucky that you have a equal chance of getting an Exotic for performing poorly. Also, adding customs wouldn't suddenly turn matchmaking into a bunch of "sweats". We'd be busy playing custom games instead, and leaving matchmade Crucible to (mostly) the people who play for marks/bounties. This benefits you.

Didn't say anything about custom games...in my opinion they would be good as long as they had a spectators team...but I wouldn't like PvP tournaments in Destiny, Iron Banner is fine for me...

You. You think competitive gameplay isn't welcome to Destiny and that all those who want to play competitive are ruining the game and shouldn't even be allowed to do so. If Custom Games were added to Destiny, it would affect you in no way whatsoever. Last I checked there's no reason you have to play Customs. Just don't play them if you don't want to, and let others enjoy their fun.
