Unable to join fireteam with NAT settings open
Hi everyone,
I need your help as I have been unable to get a proper answer from any website. Sorry in advance as I know it has been discussed before but I'm really stuck here.
Since I got destiny I have been unable to join any fireteam from xbox one users I’m adding as friends. I have my nat settings open and when trying to join a fireteam that is not limited to friends only and where there are free spaces I get the message “unable to join fireteam and get kicked out back to space”
Is there any tips on how to proceed, it doesn’t seem that I can even join a fireteam when invited.

1 ReplyHi Takezo, Like Xplodingbubbles shared below, a properly configured NAT is important for a few reasons. NAT is how well your console can talk to other consoles, which explains the trouble with joining fireteams. I hope you have the chance to read that help article.

Edited by MindfulPizza: 12/18/2014 3:51:58 PMI will add something from the 14 years of voice chat gaming , a lot time it is your ISP gave you a outdated rental modem and that store paid router, If it is a store bought modem you need to talk to your isp , since the old store bought ones got , crap that will locked out your modem and need talk really talk to a person from your isp now days , To open up that modem , You should just get the modems and routers from the ISP now days, they all got tired of the complaints and costing them millions send tech guys out to fixed it . Those modems and routers should be no issues from your isp , IF so , GO to your ISP main website find out WHY from one there tech guys. To get a NEW one . Or since there tired of going to people houses also . Every IP will now days give you a new modem and router, if not , sorry in area with just one ISP. But go to that tech forum for your isp, I bet can find people easy to fixed it faster. Get like 10 times the speed . If on a comcast now days need a modem that runs the 3.0 version for voice chat, there old modems will not work . The other issue would be if got a pc on your network that blocking the traffic , That is rare now days for a console game.
