Pre-orders. I believe they cause games to get chopped up. When they have hit the mark a game gets chopped.

  • Yea...this is a good probability....so no more pre-orders for me cause of the shit Activision pulled. I decided this weeks ago.

  • It might really have something to do with the 'guaranteed' money. If they have enough buy-in by the consumer, they know that same consumer will pay a few times to get even a little bit more. This took it to a new level by reducing production cost "Hey, lets just make a full game and NOT develop bonus/DLC content... we'll just use some of this awesome work as the DLC!" and then charging for the full experience. Even at the expense of the narrative being shot to hell. Storyline makes no sense because they performed surgery on it and took whole parts out to be planted back in later.
