Good morning, okay so here's how it works.
If you've already got the ps3 digital version (or in my case, the ghost edition which gives you access to the digital next-gen upgrade, regardless of being a phsyical copy), you've got until january 15th to do the digital next-gen upgrade. If you haven't bought Destiny until then, you might wanna just reconsider buying the game for next-gen.

So I DO have until January 15th to redeem the PS4 copy. I see, that kinda sucks, so even if I bought the game today if I didn't get a PS4 before January I can't redeem it later? Thanks for the reply, i guess I'll skip the PS3 version for now, then.

Well, you could do the same thing I'm planning to do, which is creating a user in a ps4 of someone you trust. Like my neighbor who's also my friend. I know I'll be giving him the game for free but I'll get the chance to own it on my ps4 once I get it (soon hopefully). Hope this advice helps you.
