Hahahaha this is hilarious. Sorry but it is just funny as hell.
They changed it as people were complaining that they need to farm materials so bungie introduced this option with TDB I guess or even earlier (don't remember exactly). They are not worthless as you need them to upgrade your gear and weapons.

yes it is cause whats the point in doing patrols then

Edited by Dadissk: 12/17/2014 5:15:07 AMI totally agree and in my opinion it was a step in the wrong direction. Destiny was supposed to be an open world FPS. Now that you can buy materials what is the point in doing patrols? This doesn't change the fact that most people wanted this and now they got it. I guess the only point in doing patrols is for the bounties. I hope that they add more features for the open world experience.

Do patrols for patrol missions and collecting resources, just don't need to run around for hours collecting now, can just pop in do a bit then but the deficit with my marks.
-
That a good point but in my opinion patrol mission should be better rewarded +10 reputation? This seems a little bit silly to me.

You also get a small exp bump. Like 250 - 500. Not much, but worth the 15 seconds some of them take.
-
Oh really I didn't know that. Thank for the information.

They do.... Maybe not +10 everytime but we get something I never check anymore maybe it was changed.
