Sorry, Bungie will not replace/refund/restore anything for any reason in this game. If its gone it is gone.

I just posted" I equipped my fully upgraded murmur right before nightfall while in orbit and when the strike started it was gone along with 3 rares. I didn't end up with extra ascendant energy or something like it was dismantled. Just gone. What happened?" I had just finished a nightfall and was going back in to nightfall to help a buddy and it was gone. Really pissed to lose a fully upgraded murmur for a glitch!!!

That's funny, because my friend just got his hunter restored about a week ago. As well as the exotics he had on that character, and the 300+ strange coins that were on that character.

You might want to check out the other posts for the same problem, with that exact weapon. Maybe post there to keep track of Bungie's response to the problem (if any).
