Question to reach Lvl 31/32
Ok so I finally got Lvl 30 two days ago with the new gear they had put in the vanguard but I only bought two pieces the arms and the leg armor if I buy the helmet and chest piece would it get me to Lvl 31 and also do I need to do the new raid to get Lvl 32?

You need average of 33 light on each piece for lvl 31. New exotics get you 36, tower gear gets you 33. So for 31 you need all new tower gear or 1 exotic, 2 new tower pieces, and a 30 light piece. That last piece can be from VoG/IB or a new tower piece that's not fully upgraded. You don't need Crota's gear for 31
