Ok here is a tricky one. So try not to Google please.
What video game console was Need For Speed first released on?
Also for bonus points, name the magazine that influenced this video game which was also in the Need For Speed's full offical title.
ThunderD answered correctly, 3DO. The full title of the game is; Road & Track Presents: The Need For Speed.

PS1. I just bought one at the flea market yesterday.
-
Sega Saturn
-
Nope sorry.
-
Now that I looked it up I've never even heard of that console. I won't ruin it though.
-
Nice guess though. Not many people have heard the 3D0 and far less owned one. I did however, and another game that was released first on 3D0 that became more popular on PS1 was a game called Gex. BTW ThunderD answered correctly.

3do I think.

From what I hear it was the best console version more realistic. Saturn and ps1 were arcade racers

Edited by Erkyo: 3/16/2015 9:03:10 PMI played all 4 version of the original, I owned it 3D0 and PC and played it on my friends Saturn and PS! The 3D0 version's physics felt more realistic in my opinion. Like you could easily see a difference in a cars cornering of that of a Porche or Supra compared to that of a ZR1Corvette. Or the torque of the Viper. That thing would do burnouts in 3rd gear and no other car would. The other consoles did feel more arcady. The 3D0 lacked content though. It only had three point to point tracks, no costume car colors and limited sound track. That's why I bought the PC version when it came out months later and then NFS:SE, NFS 2, NFS2:SE and so on for the PC. Haven't played a NFS game in like ten years though.

Neither have I. I have a couple for ps1, and ps2, last one i played was most wanted on the original xbox.

The dream cast

Wrong.
-
Xbox classic?
-
No sir.
-
I know this, I can't remember the name of the console but it had Panasonic written on top of it.
-
You are almost there!
-
It'd have to be the PS1 then, right? I know the third one was on the PS1 because I owned that.
-
Sorry, you are also wrong.
-
-
Nope. Try again.
-
Damn.
-
It's tough. The only reason why I know this answer is because I owned it. I added a bonus points question as well.
