Edited by BlaqSpiral: 12/19/2014 9:50:59 PMWell I spent $30 on a game I've spent almost 1000 hours on, weird huh?
-
I see crota cheese. But yes this game is a game changer. Usually I cycle between games but destiny has my full attention.
-
It's very addicting, worth my money
-
I'm absolutely enjoying Destiny. Been playing since a week after release. Nowhere close to being bored with it.
-
I have more than had my money's worth multiply times over. But it doesn't mean it meets its potential to be a lot better. Hopefully as it grows it will improve. Still yet to max a hunter so I've got another 150 hours of fun left in the game for me.

Awesome! I love it to. I'm addicted. Sometimes an addiction is bad. Sometimes and addiction is good. I believe this one to be both.
-
The game mechanics are so well done I log in to just go shoot shit with no focus, purpose, or reward other than the play itself.
-
Yea yea. Goty destiny. Fan boi u

I love this game it doesn't have a story but the rpg elements of it and just the feeling of seeing that yellow box appear with the lines shooting across the screen OH how I love it
-
I'm completely satisfied. I even took a little break to play Dragon Age and the new Call of Duty. When I came back to Destiny it made me appreciate it even more. No game is perfect but I enjoy playing. Hope to come across any others that do as well.

I'm surprised how addicted I am to this game and originally I didn't want it
-
Worth every penny
-
love it
-
im not happy i spent $500 total
-
This game could learn alot from other 'loot' games that it borrowed certain elements from *cough, Borderlands*, but Destiny is still addictive in it's own right.
-
STFU, hippie.

That's the one thing people don't seem to realize. They happily invest hundreds of hours into a game like Destiny then all of a sudden they decide the game is boring and that they were ripped off. I would probably be around the 300-350 hour mark myself, and have to say I've enjoyed every second of it, even with it's flaws. If you do feel the game is becoming bland then the best move would be to have a break from it for a while, there are other awesome games out there! Or you could do what most people do and vent your frustration on the forums and complain (even though you still play) haha.

Edited by Aeriox1: 12/17/2014 5:13:58 AMI feel like Ive gotten my $75 worth on these forums alone. Destiny 2 Im not even going to purchase, just come here and talk sh*t instead. GOOD TIMES! LETS GET TROPICAL!

I honestly don't care what what others think. Yes, the loot system is kind of a joke. There are a few flaws. But I love Destiny, I'll get on to play at 8am when my sister heads to school, and before I know it she gets home and I'm like "Holy F***, is it 4:30 already?!" I lose track of time on this game... <3 Destiny

I've shit for roughly 1800 aggregate hours during my lifetime...for free. What a deal.
-
best game I have ever played but loot system is bad. I have completed so many missions and raids but only got 1 armor atheons and suros:) thats all for 3 months:) i do not play fifa or cAll of duty because of this game but i cant get gear and weapons and i am almost stuck and my friends doesnt invite me to missions because my weapons are old and sucks. i really like to play destiny but I guess its gonna end soon.:( without weapon/gear dropped u dont have much things to do and u get alone sadly
-
Same here. Spent hours playing. And will spend many more. Best game I've played in years. I can't think of the last game I spent this much time on
-
I was lucky because I got destiny for $10 after my limited edition pre order was cancelled, so I definitely got my money back.

Destiny is on sale for $30 on Amazon.com right now. If I bought the standalone game today I would get my money's worth in its current state. This game is well worth thirty bones when you consider how bad it was and how far it has come since launch. But then again, I'm pretty content with having paid full price and been a part of the Day 1 adopters. We have basically beta-tested this game since it released (in some ways we're still testing) and for as much as I groan at the thought of the "story missions" and having to throw away all of my precious, grind-tastic old gear recently, I still really enjoy the way this game plays right now. I feel like I'm a part of a great, sometimes kinda cranky, but mostly passionate community of people who just want to see this game be all that it can be. That being said I feel robbed by the $20 DLC. Most of the "extra" content (maybe even all of it) was on the disc. Does that make it ULC (Unlockable Content)? Otherwise I am genuinely addicted to this game and I love watching it grow.
