Polygon Review

So there has been a lot of links to reviews that have basically mirrored a lot of the complaints I have seen on here. There have also been some counter-arguments that they come from Metro and Forbes... publications that obviously did not get their root in the gaming community. I guess I kinda get that argument... sure Gamespot's option holds more weight to me than say Time Magazine in respect to gaming... but its not like they get their foreign affairs journalist to write the Destiny review. They are written by people fairly knowledge about the game community... but I digress. Here is the article from POLYGON, it doesnt go into the detail of a lot of the arguments on the boards here, but definitely confirms the glaring failures and design missteps in Destiny... more importantly, highlights the systemic inconsistencies of the game in general. I mainly bring this up for people to understand this point: Regardless of where you fall in the spectrum of Destiny support (Making-youtube-videos-of-yourself-shooting-Destiny-with-a-shotgun to Bungie-is-infallible-fanboy); the complaints in Destiny are being reflected by the gaming community as a WHOLE. The criticisms at launch are not being swayed by this 'expansion' and the game is failing to impress the community (regardless of how you individually feel). If Bungie really wants to have any hope for their 10 year plan, they need to drastically revamp their game, and they need to do it fast.
