MatchMaking on the raid? No thanks! Imagine getting put with someone who has just unlocked it, no experience, no mic. Now imagine there were 2 of these people you got matched with, one of them has a screaming kid in the background and keeps going AFK to tend to said child. Wouldn't that be fun?

So yeah, those with kids who could potentially scream/cry in the background shouldnt be raiding? Or they just wouldnt be accepted on your team?

Probably not, but as a father of 5 who does manage to raid and does occasionally have one or two who are fighting/screaming in the background, I would like to better understand? As you say though, I probably have missed a key point.

I play with plenty of people with kids, a regular of mine has kids. They're more then welcome in my raid team. I'm not saying it because the kids are screaming and making noise but that the player won't have 100% concentration. It doesn't really matter if you're in a regular group because your team will know what's up. As a bunch of strangers.. -blam!- knows who you get matched with. Matchmaking just wouldn't work in my eyes.

I just got the chills thinking about this^ I think if they implemented matchmaking they should have 2 lists. One for newbies(so they can learn together, and not be dead weight) and one for the veterans who have done the raid more than a few times. The screaming kids in the background made me laugh. Just last week I missed the raid with my normal friends and I had to get some randoms from the tower. Well one of them had a screaming new born baby the whole time. I got so mad after awhile I told him to go tend to his child, he didn't so I just left the group. No one should have to put up with that crap.
