I'm assuming most people know the chest you get for not letting the Templar teleport is on a timer. What if after getting the spirit bloom chest or the secret ascendant materials chest or even the exotic chest right before the gorgans maze sets a timer that you need to beat to find this chest.

Its been confirmed its not on a timer. The thing that despawns the chest is when someone prematurely enters the Gorgon Maze. Our group has taken a 10 - 15 minute break after Templar and still gotten our chest.
