I certainly hope they'll impliment a method to raise even previous raid weapons. I mean.. the only thing that's holding them back is a single number, it's not like other MMO's where the gear get astronomically better with each new expansion. with escalating numbers of percs, # of enchantments, new "slots", etc. Hell, taking newer gear into older area's isn't even an advantage! bringing Crota weapons into the vault of glass, despite the higher attack (which won't account for anything in this case), will be a disadvantage over using the vault of glass weapons. Same deal, even if VoG weapons had the same attack as Crota weapons, you'd still want to use the crota weapons in the Crota raid due to their perks specific for that raid. The only difference is, if Iron banner rolls around again, your forced to use Crota weapons, when if we could raise the Glass weapons (by I don't know, raising the attack via a quest or crota raid specific mat), it only opens up more options. Options that in all other game modes are already balanced. Attack doesn't raise damage, it prevents damage penalization. What ever happened to building out own guardians and customization? please don't force us into MMO Fashion trends! be better!
