Yeah, if you feel the need to rely on a crutch that only your class has.
Other than that, 1) It's not good. 2) Only the oblivious won't see you. 3) You're bad if you have to rely on it.

Edited by CaptainChortles: 12/2/2014 11:57:55 PMIt completely removes you from the motion tracker for several seconds. How is that not helpful? Obviously you waste a lot of time if you try to cloak endlessly but it's nice to get a cloak while reloading or something. Players are so reliant on their tracker to prevent getting flanked that using Stalker correctly allows you to easily kill most players before they can react, even if they have Heavy ammo or a Super, so long as you don't run directly in front of them like a moron. Also, in Rumble you usually have less opportunities to use your Super and targets are further apart, which makes Hungering less essential and Encore might net you one more kill per Rumble, if you're lucky. Also, all classes have different abilities. Are they all crutches? Give me a break.

Edited by Ghost J34: 12/3/2014 3:15:28 PMPlease tell me what ability the other classes have that compare to invis. No one else can get off the tracker. You're just trying to justify your crutch. Relying on a gimmick because your FPS skills aren't up to par.

Lol no, I mostly use a Titan, followed by Warlock. Hunter is my least used class. All my classes have 3.0-3.8 K/D in Rumble with 190-205 CR. So, no, I don't need invisibility. When I'm a Hunter, I use it because it's there. Sunsinger has Flame Shield. This lets it win most melee encounters, as it allows it to take three melee hits. Voidwalker has Axiom bolt to chase players halfway across the map with its 20m radius (more than 50% larger than Nova Bomb itself after Vortex Mastery). Defender has Suppressors, which can force others out of their Super and Ward of Dawn, which is the only Super that can be cycled onto itself to last forever. Strikers get Shoulder Charge/Juggernaught, though I don't think their very useful. Gunslinger doesn't get much but it does get Tripmine, one of the longest lasting and highest damaging area denial grenades that can OHKO low Armor targets and OHKO anyone it sticks to. Everyone has a variety of tools at their disposal. Bladedancer gets momentary invisibility as one of them. Might as well use it. It's not good to rely on it but, I don't know if you've managed to figure this one out yet, it's possible to USE something to your advantage without entirely relying on its existence to carry you.

I'm bad and I have to rely on it. Works for me, I think it's a good thing to have in pvp!

Sound a little salty

I'd be salty if I was oblivious, but I'm not. I just facepalm the ones that take stealth over the perks for their super.
