DeeJ, the idea to create a new subforum for recruitment has failed. #Gaming is still overrun. I don't blame Bungie, and I don't blame you for this. Any reasonable person would have looked at creating a separate forum as a viable, reasonable option. However, it appears that many Destiny players are wildly ignorant of the way that subforums are meant to work, or are trolls purposefully causing problems. Please, don't ignore this. More drastic solutions may be necessary.

This is why we should bring back Stickied topics. An announcement on the front page would also be useful. Or even changing the name of the app back to Bungie Mobile. Many of the posts are just confused newbies who don't know #Recruitment actually exists. Yes, there are some trolls, but there always will be. Simple fixes are what's needed, nothing to drastic as of yet. If it stays being as bad as it is, then maybe giving Ninjas some of their bite back would help, but that should be the last resort.

This is really an issue that should be dealt with. The Gaming, Destiny, and Community subforums alike are all difficult to navigate due to large volumes of posts that really belong in recruiting. Maybe a sticky with subforum rules, or more strict enforcement of the rules, or even maybe the restriction of certain keywords (which would work wonders on the forum, at a great cost to the function of on-topic posts). Something should be done.

Bump for #Gaming Justice! You may want to post this in #Bungie as well. I'm sure they're working on a new and more permanent solution, but this got out of hand way too fast. #Gaming seemed all set to return to normal earlier this week, but as soon as Tuesday came it got out of hand again, probably due to Thanksgiving vacation days. Once #Gaming has been saved, #Community is the next step.
