HAHAHA! Another "earn your stuff through random drops" troll. Is there a certain mission or enemy that drops G-horn? Nope! Is there a certain criteria for gaining any exotic other than raid drops? Nope! Get what you want however you can. Sunday-Thursday grind away, Friday hope Xur has what you couldnt "earn" from a random drop. Theres always next Friday OP

People like you piss me off. Buying something with strange coins is the ONLY thing you have earned in this entire game. Rest is RANDOM. I want EVERYONE to have a GHorn EVERYONE to have an IceBreaker why?? Makes more people able to raid and allows more people to push towards more end game content for this current game! A rocket is a rocket in PVP. A sniper is a sniper. They all do the same so WHAT IS UP YOUR CHILDISH BUM that makes you more special? Is getting your GHorn from a level 5 hive legendary engram while farming loot cave your idea of EARNING??!?!

I don't want everyone to have plan c and I don't think xur is really earning them. If it was like 50 coins ..... Then that would be earning them. I played enough time on iron banner to get level 5 on each and was rewarded plan c as a drop. Doing two weekly heroics to get enough coins to buy the plan c is not earning in my opinion.

Still, based on the time I put I into playing and finally coming across the random drop is what I am considered as "rewarded". Some people that keep saying xur is earning..... You are a joke. Your argument to random drops is Ohhh you didn't deserve that random drop. It was random. I put in 3-4 days or more of playing crucible and recieved the random drops. It's about putting the time in. With xur, you do two heroic strikes that take 30 minutes to do. That is not earning and if you think it is than I really don't understand your logic.

Nonsense. Some people put in less than an hour of crucible playing and they've received an exotic drop just like you. I assume you think they didn't earn it, no? Their drop is no different from yours... You don't get better drops for playing more than others. You do however get more coins for playing more than others.

You validate your point by a hypothetical unlikely occurrence. I am speaking of the general of more time played equals more drops. Xur is too easy. In most occurrences, people play tons of crucible matches and many strikes and get a drop very few and far between. Xur rewards you with an exotic item for doing two strikes. I don't understand how you can be so feeble-minded.

We've already EARNED every effin gun, some players have just been LUCKIER with the RANDOM DROPS. If someone takes the time to create three separate characters and run three separate character through weekly heroics, and nightfalls for coins then rock on! Making 3 characters was time consuming for me. I still haven't finished em. I know damn well that I could give two chits about what some whiny lol biatch being a arm-chair-hero in a effin video game pisses and moans about someone buying a gun from a VIDEO GAME vendor. That's how shit goes man, you don't like it sell you effin game!

I have three characters. I have collected every exotic in the game available to me. I have also grinded a ton in this game. Randomness is what keeps this game a live. People striving for the weapon they want. Random drops are more impressive and much more rewarding to get to me than buying the weapons from xur. When I buy a weapon from xur I don't feel like I earned it. Big whoop, I did the weekly heroic twice and am rewarded an exotic. Your not giving up anything when it's just 17 strange coins. Now if it was 50 or so I would be ok with that. You would then only be able to get something once every two weeks. Make you actually think before you buy. Random drops are more impressive in that they take grinding. Yes people get rewarded for doing terrible in crucible or doing a single strike but take a look at how many games they weren't rewarded an exotic. I have done hundreds of strikes and never recieved an exotic. I have played several hundred games of crucible and recieved 6. I think xur is a cheap whore that needs to start charging more.

It may be more rewarding.. But it still sure as hell isn't earned.. Its a random drop You going 0-30 in the crucible isn't earning anything.. Getting a lucky engram drop isn't earning it.. Doing a set activity for a set currency is called a job.. Its how you actually EARN stuff..

So time spent is your idea of earning something.. I have over 220h into the game, pretty sure I'm entitled to whatever I want then lol.. You need to log a decent amount of time before you can even begin to run the weeklies to get the coins.. And as these forums will tell you, he never sells what people actually want.. Thanks to RNG, you could literally spend 100 hours before ever getting an exotic.. Xur is there to ensure you can at least get something. The entire game is based on luck, we don't need that crap from vendors too.. But my point is... You can call it many things.. More rewarding etc.. But you could jump on a single lvl 24 strike and get one, takes minimum 3 weeklies for a weapon (usually 23 but I have seen 17) and not every player can solo it or have a team to do it.. Its like a guy winning the lottery then going around complaining about people working jobs for their money.. They didn't earn it like he did.. Its absurd

Time put into the appropriate game modes. From your stats, all you do is play patrol and some strikes. You barely touch the raid or crucible, which is where I have recieved several exotics. You put time into the game where you can't really get exotics.

Yet I've gotten the vex, mida, bad juju, P&t. Plan c and super good advice.. On top of plenty of legendaries like voc. None of which came from xur. I wear one exotic armor piece from him I played enough strikes to know they are pointless now.. I run the weekly, nightfall and lately the raid.. Patrols in between.. I jump on crucible when I feel the urge but I finish too high on the scoreboard to actually get a reward it seems.. Its still fun tho So what's your point anyways? That I don't play enough strikes so I must not have exotics without xur?

You don't play enough of crucible and you don't do the raid much. Which are where I recieved a lot of exotics. You finish to high on the scoreboard to get rewards? Bruuuuuh. You barely have a positive kd in crucible and you barely play it. Based on your stats,I feel like you were a loot cave veteran and are not good enough to do the harder content of this game. Which is why you need your xur handouts. Keep farming

Playing hundreds of strikes and 1 time getting an exotic as a reward is earning it. You do not take into account the countless games they play and don't get an exotic. With xur you do 2........... 2 measly strikes to get an exotic. No, that is not earning it.

And why are you playing strikes to get exotics? Who told you that's what you are supposed to do? You have decided to do that.. And now expect everyone to do the same.. And quite frankly, its your own stupidity (for lack of a better word) for expecting your exotics to drop in strikes (which they don't) And for just one more point... Damn near everyone here can run a tiger strike with their eyes closed.. It takes no effort or skill when you are 5-6 levels above the playlist you are playing.. You run 100 lvl24 strikes in hopes of getting something you aren't going to get.. Others run 3 lvl28 weeklies to get one for sure.. One is foolish and one is smart.. That's about it

Quick question. How many times have you cheesed atheon? Based on the fact that you have the vex and the raid helmet, im guessing quite often. Learn to play the game and challenge yourself then you can talk to me about how you earn your gear and weapons.

I got lucky and got it on my first run.. Sue me.. Lol I fail to see how my vex somehow relates to your assumption that people don't earn gear from xur.. But I guess I didn't "earn" my vex either right? I keep forgetting people need to play according to your standards.. My bad :p

Nope.. Beat it on normal and a guy had a atheon checkpoint on hard.. Dude cheesed him when we all wiped.. So nope.. But its not like I'm going to dismantle it to make anyone feel better.. And I've certainly never used it as some bragging right.. I just like mentioning I have one because it angers people for some reason lol.. But my entire point of this discussion is.. You don't get to decide how others play the game.. You play it how you want.. If you choose to not buy from xur and would rather grind strikes then hey! More power to you.. But don't think for a second anyone else cares.. Everyone around here is so petty they keep inventing new standards they think people need to meet to be on their level.. Nobody cares! Nobody here is special or deserves recognition for playing a damn game.. Like you said.. I played the raid on hard for all of 3min and got a helm and vex that people have tried for 100 times.. What's so damn special about having it or any other piece of gear? Or that I've wanted an icebreaker for a month with no luck but some kid can get one for going 0-20 in the crucible.. Is he better then me then? Its all luck of the draw. Well... Except xur... Lol..
