Shut up dreg... P.s: destiny has almost no issues compared to unity, minus miniscule raid issues (which personally I have not encountered in 2 weeks). I had many friends buy unity, play it once, and return it to their shelves. The game was entirely broken for many.. Where as destiny is not. If you wanna talk connection issues let me just add this: all connection issues are the problems of your internet connection/home network, and in no way is it destinies fault. Destiny servers have been consistently online since launch, minus the occasional weekly update/scheduled maintenance. If destinies servers are online, and others are able to play, the problem is yours, not destinies. And unless you have worked for an internet service provider, or a service which is provided by means of the internet, you have no explicit knowledge on how things work.

  • Destiny is the only game in which I'm having connection problems. Every other game runs amazingly, but in Destiny I can't even complete a single crucible without getting error code Bee (this problem started 10 days ago).

  • You sir are an idiot. You cannot diagnose every problem by saying it's everyone else but Bungie. As a matter of fact Bungie (that you so proudly claim) has even stated that the d/c issues may in fact he problems that are out of the players control. Your statement is the dumbest fanboy statement that I have heard. You deserve no more attention and should just save us the trolling and stay off the forums.

  • While I agree with the start of your post - the end is wrong. I live in Staten Island NY and use Time Warner Cable for WiFi and pay for the top service which is just one notch from the business package - which essentially means the same thing. In other words, I pay for and get top quality Wifi and have a decent router. I don't have anything else online other than occasionally my phone to use the Destiny app while playing so I don't have to leave the game to send a message to a friend or two. I usually turn that off when doing a strike or raid. While I haven't been booted much lately - it happened often in the beginning. This WAS Bungie's server for sure. Way too many players from WAY too many places were being booted off WAY too often for it to NOT be Bungie. You must be soft in the head to think so or work for them and are an apologist. I believe you are just plain wrong and that is all I will say on this matter other than to say that I still LOVE Destiny and play so often I have caused my wrists and hand to have pain and stiffness.

  • Sorry but you are seriously delusional. I don't care where you have worked or fir how long. There has not been one single game, app, stream or any other internet medua connection that has resulted in being booted. Destiny is the ONLY game that has done thos EVER. It's called pricess of elimination. I've called my provider, had resets and still the same. Just because their servers are always online doesn't mean in ANY sense there aren't bugs or overloads. Your experience has to be limited to screwing in a coax cable because your prognosis is WAY off!!

It's bungies end. I can have 2 people stream Netflix, watch a twitch stream on my phone, and have my brother on YouTube at the same time, and I can play with a 3-4 bar on Black ops 2 or Bf4, and not even reach over 70 ping when I play League of Legends. There will even be times when I'll be the only one in my WiFi when I play destiny- disconnected from Xbox live or kicked from centipede. I've done all of the "fixes" and none of them have worked. I'll say it again like I have millions of times before: it's bungies end, not ours.

  • Yeah, for the original post to be correct it would mean that most of the civilized world is having server problems at the same time. There were days recently that I could not play with my friends because they were being booted off or I was stuck on my sparrow uploading. I can get a YouTube video without a glitch but I can't play Destiny without being booted and it isn't Bungie - come on! Be serious guy.

  • Actually, I had problems with Destiny a while ago and every other game/streaming service, etc worked fine. I decided to call my ISP because my internet took a crap regarding youtube, they reset the connection on their end and I haven't had any problems with Destiny since...minus 2 hawk errors I got the last two days, which is nothing given that I played error free for about a month, with still no problems. So.... Call your ISP, it's not always the game company's fault. Don't knock it till you try it, right?

  • I have worked for both Netflix and Comcast, and I can indeed say you are one entitled fool :) you are wrong in every way imaginable. Your Xbox/network is not connecting to destiny servers correctly. PERIOD... Destiny servers are online, I've been playing for hours a day no problem.. And you are not... Sounds like your problem, not destinies

  • Listen, I live in Staten Island and have Netflix and internet. I almost never have a single problem with my internet nor Netflix nor any other online thing. While Destiny has not booted me off that much recently - it was often not that long ago and I know for a fact it isn't my router nor Time Warner Cable since I pay for top of the line service. My downloads are fast as hell. Could it be my PS4? I don't know. But to say it is players fault or their internet service sounds very wrong to me no matter who you worked for. FYI, I work in sales in a very high-end electronics store that has had serious network problems so I am familiar with them. We have had to work hard to rectify them and have. I have to use the internet for my business these days so I know what those problems are like. When a player is being booted off of Destiny many, many times while being able to get lightning like downloads on the internet and are able to flawlessly play NetFlix movies - then what the hell is it other than Bungie's server?

  • Honestly I cannot even start to point out how many times you are wrong in your post, i would be explaining for paragraphs. There are multiple things that cause connection interference. Settings, internet providers and their connections., and so much more it could be your ps4, the router/modem, the IP, ports can be forwarded, manual WiFi setup. A lot of it is your internet provider. I have friends who have routers that disconnect for 30 seconds every 15 minutes to an hour. You mention you can connect to netflix, however you cannot connect to destiny. Currently netflix is paying cable companies a premium for their extreme bandwidth usage. They will have a stronger connection than any internet provided service. There are just far too many issues within a home network that may or may not need to be resolved. If destinies servers are online, they are doing their job. If your internet provider or network set up chops up the signal and refuses to connect consistantly, your ISP/Home internet connection is at fault

  • So whats your reason when 3000+ people have a complaint about a new error after every update? Bee, hawk, caterpillar, marion berry? they keep dividing the errors to isolate the problems. The fact is they havent publicly acknowledged the problems except on here, amid all the negativr reactions and issues they have remained strangely quiet.

  • I have 152 Mbps fibre optic connection, static IP for the console, port forwarding and IP Sec pass through. No problems on any other game or app, PC and other systems running flawlessly, but somehow it's my fault? Seriously? There are one or two other posts that might mention there is a bit of an issue. Even Bungie have admitted they've had problems. But the fanboys just won't accept it.

  • Man you are so right here. I too have super internet service but have been booted off too many times to count. Saying it is our fault is just plain idiotic without doing a diagnostic on every players' system. This guy is talking out of his hat on this one despite who he worked for. And yes, Destiny did admit they have had problems on this matter so how the hell did he come to this conclusion. Just plain BS is what that is and if you knew me - I don't respond on these posts like this unless I am really mad and this makes me mad as hell blaming me or you for Bungie's server issues - saying it is our otherwise flawless systems.

  • Never really had connection issues on a game besides Destiny. Destiny servers are not always online. If it's the fault of our Internet, then it would log us off of Xbox Live as well...so your expertise in this matter as far as networking is sorely lacking. And you can kindly remove your lips from Bungie's ass. They don't need your ass kissing when they've bent enough people over lol

  • Fu ck you! I have great connection and get zero errors or kicks from other games on Xbox Or Playstation Only game that constantly error boots me is fu ck ing Destiny So take your lame as excuse and stop sucking on Bungie's nuts. You have no idea what is going on so you're either a bungie apologist or a fu ck ing bungie employee

  • Please explain more Mr. know-it-all. I have 50 down and 50 up fiber optics. Ping is never above 65 anywhere in the states I test it. Yet I get on Destiny and get disconnected at least 2-3x a night. I can literally grab any game off my shelf and never have issues. It is clearly on Destiny's side of the aspect.
