I only leave if I get rushed. It takes the fun out of the game. I'll fight back, if possible, but I'm not going to sit around and watch my base die for five minutes because they cranked out a couple of warthogs.
This thread reminds me of a 2v2 that I played once that lasted about two hours. Something tells me that they might have been farming us but I don't think they were. They had two more bases than us for most of the match, but I was able to combine Vulture attacks with a quadruple MAC to instantly destroy their bases and fight back.

Vulture surprise attacks are awesome, but it takes a lot to have a situation where it's appropriate.

Yeah, I usually drag my games out for a long time since I play more defensively. So I get situations where I can use that to my advantage, but only if I'm not by myself.

I used to play super defensively as well, but my win rate went up like crazy once I started being more aggressive.
