Thanks for taking the time to reply - however this is not helpful. I don't have access to a hardwired bonafide broadband connection. I have to rely on using either my mobile phone hotspot over HSDPA or the EE Osprey MyFi over 4G. I have used speedtest.net on the Osprey which reports ping of 40ms~ download at 20Mbps~ and upload of 10Mbps~. This to me seems more than acceptable for gaming. In all seriousness, the Osprey MyFi device is marketed as being suitable to game with and with the speeds I have highlighted it should be able to. If the device is not capable for some other technical reason THAT I CAN TEST, then i am well within my rights to return it as not fit for purpose. For example; too many packet drops, poor jitter rate, blocket ports etc. But i need guidance on this. Can i test for this as i am not able to open ports or anything on the device itself. Incidentally, after a couple of attempts i was able to connect to destiny in the end last night. After i got over a couple of nondescript cattle errors. However, i would still like to know the root cause.
