Online games need stable connections. I suggest that you use a wired connection, or if wi-fi, connect an ethernet cable from your router to your console, port forward ports, and change NAT type to open. I doubt it that 4G connection works for the game. Just an opinion.

Thanks for replying, however, for me that is not an option. Hotels almost never have standard wifi to connect to (always with a web page log in) and never allow access directly. There will be others like me who have to rely on 4g devices such as people who live in rural/remote locations. I am also not able to configure ports on the myfi device. So port forwarding is not an option. As mentioned i could connect in the end after a couple of attempts, but if stability is an issue, then i need a way of communicating this back to the supplier and getting a refund. They state that the device is suitable for gaming and as I cannot do this then it's not fit for purpose and i can get a refund. hope this makes sense.
