Online games need stable connections. I suggest that you use a wired connection, or if wi-fi, connect an ethernet cable from your router to your console, port forward ports, and change NAT type to open. I doubt it that 4G connection works for the game. Just an opinion.

  • Thanks for replying, however, for me that is not an option. Hotels almost never have standard wifi to connect to (always with a web page log in) and never allow access directly. There will be others like me who have to rely on 4g devices such as people who live in rural/remote locations. I am also not able to configure ports on the myfi device. So port forwarding is not an option. As mentioned i could connect in the end after a couple of attempts, but if stability is an issue, then i need a way of communicating this back to the supplier and getting a refund. They state that the device is suitable for gaming and as I cannot do this then it's not fit for purpose and i can get a refund. hope this makes sense.
