Getting notifications for messages would be nice. I have to check my activity and click on an action to find any post someone may have replied on

Check your notification settings. There's options for all that.

Yes, I've set it. Removed it and set it again. Numerous times. They also seem to have removed the icon at the top that used to list all your replies

They've moved it. Its now at the top of the off screen menu. Bad design. :/
