Hello deej, I have been very excited about destiny during the hype and I bought it the first day it came out.
Anyway, me and this fire team beat anthem on hard mode, some got the mythoclas, some got raid set gear, others some other weapons, and I got ascendent energy.
Why is ascendent energy even considered loot worth the time and effort of beating atheon (it was just 8 by the way). Now, I am not one for complaining about video games but when this happens to me for this and the nightfall strike I become a little annoyed. This whole rant is leading up to one question.
Why is the entire destiny economy based on a 100% random based loot system. It is impossible for me and probably many others to reach level 30 and soon level 32 because of just luck. I understand why the developers would be hesitant to make trading available between players due to corruptibility. But, if there was something like an auction system for players to buy something, it would be a much better system.
Maybe this won't be read. Maybe it won't be taken to consideration. Maybe I'm just annoyed that I got ascendent energy from the nightfall and atheon on hard mode but please take this to consideration because i know other players feel the same way.

Destiny was supposed to have trading. It all would make sense;RNGesus would be perfect for an in-game economy. Look at WoW. 100% random loot based ? Just go away with ur troll. It is easy to have a lot of weapon (exo or legendary). Atm, i got about 7/8 exotic weapons and i think it's too easy to get them. Then, there is Xur each week-end to sell to random player some exotic weapon and stuff. So don't complain about it. I think nobody want to see Destiny coming a casual game

Isn't there luck in the matter of time when you get what you came for? The time it takes you to get what you want, isn't that based on your luck?

Im sorry but I noticed something, your grimoire is under 1800 and you have done the raid a total of 6 times. You don't even deserve to be level 29 let alone 30, please shut the -blam!- up and actually put some time into the game. Maybe you will actually earn something. If they gave exotics and raid gear away to bad players or people putting very little time in this game would be pointless.

They do give exotics away to bad players. One of the reasons I don't really play crucible

same situation happened to me, all i want is raid helm and vex mythoclast... but all i ever manage to get from raids are ascendant shards. All 3 of my characters have reached level 30 and i have now stacked up to just under 300 shards. Why cant i just trade these shards to somebody for energy or better, for a gun ive wanted or a piece of armour i need? Destiny needs something besides 100% random luck, iron banner gear that can hit level 30 was good because it was a 100% guarentee if you do this you may buy this. Why cant it be like that for everything? Do this you may now do these options with these items. NOPE, just gonna keep it 100% freakin random... Only major downfall i see to this game.

Use them to upgrade your gear. You have level 30 gear on all 3 my man. I'm not even trying to be a dick. Legit. Just run raid for shards and do dailys, level your shit to max and your 30 with what you have

all i need is energy though to upgrade my weapons... ik that i can use shards to upgrade my other gear that i want like all of the exotics per character but i dont need to, i have the exotics i want on all characters now so shards are basically useless

Use that energy to upgrade your guns.they'll be more effective maxed out. I could understand your anger if all your weapons were maxed...but they are not. So don't be pissed upgrade yo shizz
