Most of you (NOT ALL) 27-29's are hypocrites
I just spent the last 30 mins trying to find a normal raid group on my 26 titan. and not a single 27-29 player would invite me even after i told them i have 2 level 30 characters and good guns.
Yet i come on these forums and see 29's crying because 30's wont play with them on hard raid. lol its so funny.
i am on xbox one so this post targets you 29 cry babies. The 29's on ps4, i can't comment because you can't do the raid with me even if i asked you too.
From now on every time i see a 29 cry about being left out. i will send them to this post.
I am not crying, I just wanted the 29's to open their eyes to see that they're doing the same thing the 30's do to them. Now they know how a 26 feels. i completed the raid with my friends already because i am a boss with no life.
EDIT: nice talking to everyone.... okay most of you anyways.... lol feel free to like my comment it gives me nothing but shows support :)

EDIT3: my last edit has something wrong with the edit. i think i lost some brain cells reading some of these posts. but this is trending and i hope that everyone will soon end the fighting and open their eyes. i bring peace to war i will win a cookie.
EDIT4: i did a little cleaning to the post so i look less stupid.... even though i am sure the grammar teachers are having a panic attack right now lol.
EDIT5:everyone keeps saying level up... i shouldn't have to level up to meet your requirements. i have the skill to play normal raid without being carried. that is the point of this post. 29's telling 30's they have the skill to play hard raid so invite them they don't need that 1 level. well the same can be said for me being 26 wanting to do the normal raid and the 27-29 telling me i need another level or 2. what part of that do you not understand? geez i didn't know i had to spell it out for everyone i figured you guys were smart enough to figure it out using common sense guess thats where i made a mistake.
EDIT6: so many posts i am sorry if i don't reply to you. feel free to add me my gt is my bnet name. atm i have a temp ban because of some stupid crap i did so i can't talk or hear anyone or message anyone for a while. i admit i made some mistakes but i am not a bad person i just had a idgaf moment. i can still join games and run raid. i may not be able to talk or hear but i still have my eyes and i have the skill to play.

Everyone I run with will happily take a 26. Shoot we did it last night with a lvl 24 haha and 2 guys had never done it before. (One being the 24)

I prefer running normal with 27s but you're experienced. And I've done the raid with a 25 before anyways. You just found scrubs haha

1 ReplyFirst time I did the raid I was a 27, with guys that were 28-29 on normal. They were an awesome group. Now that I am 30 and have done the raid enough to know what I am doing I will take a 25-26 just because you have to learn some how. I do prefer 27-28 but I have no problem helping lower levels run through the raid. On the other hand I jumped into a raid on hard at level 29 and they were incredible douches. And while yes they were level 30 they were not organized and not skilled but yelled at me for being a 29. I died once during the gate keeper, which is where we stopped. While they constantly died and yelled because they didn't know how to communicate. Yelling I have for help with out one saying who, or where at. It was a terrible experience. So as of now I have not done the raid on hard, and not concerned with it if that is how players are going to act. It's long and difficult and understandable just want to get it done. But being a douche isn't going to help.

I've had groups take me as a level 26 on normal or 29 on hard. I've also had people decline me at said levels on said raids. And I don't hold it against those who turned me down because it honestly does make it much harder for everyone else having lower levels on the groups. Try to see it from their perspective.

1 ReplyOur group takes all comers, 26's, newbie's, relic-newbie's - hell we even took a 25 once just cuz. Everyone needs to learn and/or start somewhere. Once upon a time I was that guy, and someone took me through it with much patience and kindness. We've had problem players too, but here is the thing - problem players come from the PLAYER, not their online avatar.

Levels don't mean anything to me. If you have a 26, cool lets raid. I have yet to do a hard raid, because of everyone only wanting 30s... I hit 30 last night, but whatever, I just want to play the damn game. So, if you're high enough level to be able to raid, send me an invite or a message - xbox one xpctR3sistanc3 - I plan on doing Nightfall & a raid tonight (not necessarily in that order) - I'd also like to try the hard raid soon.

I raid with a group of 29s and 30s. We always make sure to pick up a 26. We complete it unless than an hour and it such a blast. You have to put into consideration that 26s sometimes are useless. They're just extra weight and people want to complete it fast. But anyway you can add me on X1 - Pull Hard

1 ReplyI'll admit it I'm one of those 30 elitists when it comes to the hard raid but come on, on normal id pick up as far low as 25 that's just insane but if I'm running on my 27 I'm gonna need 26 and up

I raid with my team they bring 25s if they want but they pull their weight they know the fights and are genuinely helpful in the raid.

I would NOT have taken you, solely because of your attitude. I am fine with helping lower levels or noobs through so they can learn, but I can't stand people who insist I OWE them my help because they (fill in the blank). Sure, you have 2 30's and you know the difference between your ass and a conflux, but that doesn't mean shit to me. If you have 2 30's and all this experience then you have shards to get to 27-29, you just won't because you don't want to waste mats...aka you are lazy(unlike 29's who can't get gear). Everyone who goes into the raid has to burn shards on non-raid items at some point, in order to lvl and help the team. Normal 26's will listen when you tell them not to grab the relic, just shoot oracles; people like you, who feel like they deserve a fireteam, usually ignore everything I say, argue about how you are "2 1337", "this isn't how *I* do the raid"... etc..., grab the relic anyway and are surprised when the hobgoblins kill you(you aren't a 30 right now) and you cause a wipe(because the other 2 guys in portal are -blam!-ing blind and trying to shoot oracles). Moral of the story: noone "deserves" anything in this game. It is noone else's responsibility to do any content with you. That goes for 26's, 29's, 30's...... and anyone else. Find people who WANT to run with you(even if you have to run with other 26's), forums are for more than bitching(I think....).

I prefer 27+ for normal, 29+ for hard. You can get to 29 with legendaries and an exotic, 0 raid gear, so theres really no reason not to be 27 at least. It's just a lot of people don't want to spend 3 hours doing a normal raid because of people's lack of armor/weapon damage. In your situation with 2 30's though.. yeah that's silly. Theyd easily make up for your lack of dmg.

1 Reply26 is an appropriate level for normal. As long as your weapons are decent, you shouldn't have a problem. I just ran 4 new players through the raid, 2 of which were 25 and 26. We only wiped once at atheon. The rest was cake because they were able to listen and didn't have bad habits like "experienced" players do. There are too many elitists on xbox, I agree, but not all of us. I prefer running normal with new players just for that reason.

I helped a level 25/26 yesterday. It wasn't too bad. We had more of a problem with the random level 28 that was a complete moron and wouldn't listen to anybody.

15 RepliesThese two things are not the same. Reaching 30 from 29 requires the blessing of rngesus. Reaching 27 or 28 from 26 requires a handful of shards that you should have loads of if you have 2 30s. 29s are one level down on hard raid. A 26 is two down on normal. To compare yourself being lazy or cheap or whyever you're only 26 to somebody being stuck at 29 because they're unlucky is childish.

As others have stated, it is a great disadvantage to be a level 26 in the normal raid. So its really quite simple, you can take a chance on a level 26 that you sorta carry through or you can simply pick up a 27, or preferably a 28 and go through it without the carry. Plus as others have stated, it just seems lazy to not be higher than 26 when all it takes is some gear you can buy and some xp. I have carried plenty of 26, 25's through just saying when ur picking at random, might as well increase ur chances of completing as much as possible.
