Most of you (NOT ALL) 27-29's are hypocrites
I just spent the last 30 mins trying to find a normal raid group on my 26 titan. and not a single 27-29 player would invite me even after i told them i have 2 level 30 characters and good guns.
Yet i come on these forums and see 29's crying because 30's wont play with them on hard raid. lol its so funny.
i am on xbox one so this post targets you 29 cry babies. The 29's on ps4, i can't comment because you can't do the raid with me even if i asked you too.
From now on every time i see a 29 cry about being left out. i will send them to this post.
I am not crying, I just wanted the 29's to open their eyes to see that they're doing the same thing the 30's do to them. Now they know how a 26 feels. i completed the raid with my friends already because i am a boss with no life.
EDIT: nice talking to everyone.... okay most of you anyways.... lol feel free to like my comment it gives me nothing but shows support :)

EDIT3: my last edit has something wrong with the edit. i think i lost some brain cells reading some of these posts. but this is trending and i hope that everyone will soon end the fighting and open their eyes. i bring peace to war i will win a cookie.
EDIT4: i did a little cleaning to the post so i look less stupid.... even though i am sure the grammar teachers are having a panic attack right now lol.
EDIT5:everyone keeps saying level up... i shouldn't have to level up to meet your requirements. i have the skill to play normal raid without being carried. that is the point of this post. 29's telling 30's they have the skill to play hard raid so invite them they don't need that 1 level. well the same can be said for me being 26 wanting to do the normal raid and the 27-29 telling me i need another level or 2. what part of that do you not understand? geez i didn't know i had to spell it out for everyone i figured you guys were smart enough to figure it out using common sense guess thats where i made a mistake.
EDIT6: so many posts i am sorry if i don't reply to you. feel free to add me my gt is my bnet name. atm i have a temp ban because of some stupid crap i did so i can't talk or hear anyone or message anyone for a while. i admit i made some mistakes but i am not a bad person i just had a idgaf moment. i can still join games and run raid. i may not be able to talk or hear but i still have my eyes and i have the skill to play.
EDIT7: i no longer have a temp ban .. i think... i can message people again :)

1 ReplyYou're level 26 you have no business in vog it's not hard to get to level 29 I did it in 20 hours of gameplay... Don't care if you have 2 level 30s...

Personally, I don't like to run with 26s. It sucks and I feel for you, but you're at a disadvantage against level 28 enemies even with fully upgraded weapons. 27s are fine, however. And I don't feel I'm a hypocrite because I don't even put my name out there before I hit 27.

Right, I feel like I'm the only person that doesn't care about another's level when it comes to raiding. Now that most have likely played the raid, it's a breeze with all high levels. Why not challenge yourself and play with some 26-27's?

Did they say they wouldnt run with you because of your level? Or just say no. Some people only run the raid once per week per character. Im 29 and have only ran the normal raid (start to finish) once and Ill say that its hard to find a good team that is efficient in there that will run it "for the fun of it".

1 ReplyIf the raid is 26 and you are too, do you not have about the same chance as a 29? Maybe you've got slightly less defense but you won't do less damage so what is the big deal? I want to do the raid once my alt is 26 but I doubt I'll get a team to let me in until i'm 28-29.

3 RepliesI have 3 30s, every class, and don't care what level other players are when doing the raid. I helped a few level 26, 27, 28 players in a normal raid the other day.

I have 2 30s and have been leveling up my 3rd character and can definitely confirm that there are douchey 28-29 out there who are hypocritical about this very thing. I raided with a 25 when everybody else in the fireteam was 28+. Somebody joins, makes a comment about me being a 25 and leaves. Normal raid isn't even hard!

It's just a lot easier to do the raid as a lvl or higher and people are asshats. I know my group would be glad to help you out of we were short a person

My buddies that I raid with ran it with me when my lock was a 25, only point I had to be "carried" was against the level 28 supplicants, but on the inside my maxed raid weapons and nova bomb wrecked oracles and minotaur shields

3 RepliesConcerning Edit 5, yes you do need to level up to meet the parties expectations. Unless you are with a circle of close friends, you're expecting 5 people to intentionally handicap the party; this is true regardless of your skillset as a level 26 going on a raid. Comparing a 26 to a 29 is not an apples to apples comparison - you're comparing apples & oranges. A level 29 player is not going to be able to reach level 30 without raid gear, whereas a level 26 player can easily reach level 27/28, however, you're going to have to grind a bit. I hope that I phrased it in such a way that makes sense to you - you're honestly not contributing as much as a level 27-29 party member...this is assuming an equal skillset to other people with level 30 alts that put in the work to reach level 27-29 before requesting a pug raid. ;-) Good luck - you put in the effort before to reach 30, you can do it again, but it won't be handed to you. :-)

I'm a lvl 30 and I completely agree with you. I haven't been able to complete the because there is always more 29s than 30s

A 26 is almost useless in normal raid, and is usually a liability, being 2 levels below most enemies. The biggest problem with what you are saying is that a level 29 is topped out, and trying to level up the only way possible, by getting new gear. If you are 26, you can level up quite easily, you just need shards and one exotic to get to 29. I have finished the raid with a 24 on the team, but he knew he was being carried, and just stayed out of the way, and didn't die. And yeah you may be able to do fine in the raid at 26, but not everyone playing the game is aware of your impressive skills, they just have a number to go by, and the higher that number is, the more willing other players will be to bring you in. I know where you are coming from tho, i "wasted" shards on my alt characters legendary gear to get them to 28......just makes it all much easier. You arent going to change anything by posting about it, so yeah you may get lucky and fall into a good group, but you will probably have to suck it up and level up, or just stay mad i guess.

I have a 28, and 26, and have a dedicated raid team, so if I don't reply to invites its because I've already done it, or there's no room. I'm happy to help lower levels even if I'm not the best :)

5 RepliesFrom what I see I can't seem to find any good groups because 80% of the people that talk a big game either suck really bad at the raid or they do what they want, they want a group to hold their hand. For example a level 30 that never held a shield ? How is that possible ? There is no reason this person would not be able to use a shield its not that hard so what gives. Answer he was held by the hand the whole time. I think they really need to add a match making system. Because at this rate this issue is getting ridiculous .

If I think the 25 is experienced, has good guns and would take to the raid on hard I really like to help him but if it was someone who himself does not want to help others out I kick them instantly. SORRY for the idiots wich did not play with you

If you're 26 you're doing half the damage you normally would. Edit: you don't haveeeee to be 27 but if everyone is 26 it's going to be hard, harder than the hard raid Atheon IMO

4 RepliesIt took me like half an hour to find a group on my 25 Titan even though I said I had 2 30s. The group was one 30, 2 29s and 2 28s. I had the most kills out of everyone and died the second least (stupid jumping puzzle)

Add me I help(sometimes subsequently carry) people through stuff all the time raid, NF, WH I get bored so helping others is fun and rewarding. I helped a guy for his first raid ever and he was super excited just hit me up gt is the same just send me a message that you are from the forums and what you need help with
