Most of you (NOT ALL) 27-29's are hypocrites
I just spent the last 30 mins trying to find a normal raid group on my 26 titan. and not a single 27-29 player would invite me even after i told them i have 2 level 30 characters and good guns.
Yet i come on these forums and see 29's crying because 30's wont play with them on hard raid. lol its so funny.
i am on xbox one so this post targets you 29 cry babies. The 29's on ps4, i can't comment because you can't do the raid with me even if i asked you too.
From now on every time i see a 29 cry about being left out. i will send them to this post.
I am not crying, I just wanted the 29's to open their eyes to see that they're doing the same thing the 30's do to them. Now they know how a 26 feels. i completed the raid with my friends already because i am a boss with no life.
EDIT: nice talking to everyone.... okay most of you anyways.... lol feel free to like my comment it gives me nothing but shows support :)

EDIT5:everyone keeps saying level up... i shouldn't have to level up to meet your requirements. i have the skill to play normal raid without being carried. that is the point of this post. 29's telling 30's they have the skill to play hard raid so invite them they don't need that 1 level. well the same can be said for me being 26 wanting to do the normal raid and the 27-29 telling me i need another level or 2. what part of that do you not understand? geez i didn't know i had to spell it out for everyone i figured you guys were smart enough to figure it out using common sense guess thats where i made a mistake.
EDIT6: so many posts i am sorry if i don't reply to you. feel free to add me my gt is my bnet name. atm i have a temp ban because of some stupid crap i did so i can't talk or hear anyone or message anyone for a while. i admit i made some mistakes but i am not a bad person i just had a idgaf moment. i can still join games and run raid. i may not be able to talk or hear but i still have my eyes and i have the skill to play.

3 RepliesIn our clan we've started running a virgin raiders driving school, 3 Lvl 30-29's take 3 26-28 players from the clan that have never raided and teach them the ropes, let them all have a go at the relic so they never feel afraid to pick it up, and they've got a buddy for stages, that shows them where to be for the confluxs/oracle's/we don't cheese the templar/portals one at a time to explain things properly. Every one no matter of skill or lvl should have the opportunity to freely play with other people, especially on the normal raid (some times on the hard mode), I've never said to any one low lvl that they can't run the raid with us. But then again people with elitist ego issues that tell you to go hit 30 before trying hard raid won't raid with me, I'm normally fire team leader again and don't tolerate rudeness or people that don't understand how to work as a team, don't care the concequences they just get booted lvl 29-30 or not...

9 RepliesUm, the reason its acceptable for 29s to be crying about 30s not letting them join is because they NEED Raid gear only available in the Hard Raid to get to 30. Level 26s do not NEED to do the Raid to get to 27, 28, or 29, so you whining about not being let into the Normal Raid is not as acceptable.

I just did a raid last night with a 25 hunter and 2 28 something's... I am 29 and 3/4 trying to get to 30 but can't get more than one or two to help. Have yet to finish hard... So no helmet.

I even go to the extent of checking they haven't got the achievement already. We talk them through every aspect of the raid, give them a chance to experience relic holding etc, be patient with them. Not everyone is the same. I do however agree with you, these forums and destiny has too many elitist fools in my opinion. If they were that good they would help others. Problem is that most lv30's need more to hold their hand coz they are actually pretty bad. The amount of times I have been in raid with people from forums, they are the ones that for the most and make us wipe. People just need to learn the mechanics and help others learn and stop bitching about levels of players!

I was in the raid trying to complete it for 4 hours yesterday because of 26s and still didn't get it done. I usually complete 1 in about an hour. There was even a 26 in one of my groups using the strangers rifle..really?! Edit: also, when I leveled my titan, I waited till I was 27 to raid, less of a risk.

If you wanna raid with that 26 I'm a 28 hunter on xbone, you can usually find me on the weekends for raid I help 25's and 26's all the time.. My GT is harper54..

Thats why 27 seems like a reasonable minimum for normal raid. 30 is not a reasonable requirement for hard raid. Kicking a 29 with maxed weapons is just being an ass.

13 RepliesIt sucks yoy got left out but my theory is you don't need luck to be lvl 29 only 30 so why would someone want to raid with a character you created like yesterday go spend some shards and then play the raid instead of complaining about others coming from someone with all characters level 30 and did it by grouping with forum people

My cousin and his buddy are like this (they claimed the raid couldn't be beat with anyone under 28) so I found another group and we beat the raid with two 26's and a 27. Probably one of the best and shortest raids I have ever done. It's all about communication.

I don't know/don't care about your claims regarding the 27-29 group as a whole, are you sure you didn't have this same attitude when you communicated with them? 3) Anyone could reach 29, are you implying that you're too lazy to collect and farm Vanguard & Crucible marks for legendaries, and that upgrading them is too complicated? You'd only be helping the team more.
