Most of you (NOT ALL) 27-29's are hypocrites
I just spent the last 30 mins trying to find a normal raid group on my 26 titan. and not a single 27-29 player would invite me even after i told them i have 2 level 30 characters and good guns.
Yet i come on these forums and see 29's crying because 30's wont play with them on hard raid. lol its so funny.
i am on xbox one so this post targets you 29 cry babies. The 29's on ps4, i can't comment because you can't do the raid with me even if i asked you too.
From now on every time i see a 29 cry about being left out. i will send them to this post.
I am not crying, I just wanted the 29's to open their eyes to see that they're doing the same thing the 30's do to them. Now they know how a 26 feels. i completed the raid with my friends already because i am a boss with no life.
EDIT: nice talking to everyone.... okay most of you anyways.... lol feel free to like my comment it gives me nothing but shows support :)

EDIT3: my last edit has something wrong with the edit. i think i lost some brain cells reading some of these posts. but this is trending and i hope that everyone will soon end the fighting and open their eyes. i bring peace to war i will win a cookie.
EDIT4: i did a little cleaning to the post so i look less stupid.... even though i am sure the grammar teachers are having a panic attack right now lol.
EDIT5:everyone keeps saying level up... i shouldn't have to level up to meet your requirements. i have the skill to play normal raid without being carried. that is the point of this post. 29's telling 30's they have the skill to play hard raid so invite them they don't need that 1 level. well the same can be said for me being 26 wanting to do the normal raid and the 27-29 telling me i need another level or 2. what part of that do you not understand? geez i didn't know i had to spell it out for everyone i figured you guys were smart enough to figure it out using common sense guess thats where i made a mistake.
EDIT6: so many posts i am sorry if i don't reply to you. feel free to add me my gt is my bnet name. atm i have a temp ban because of some stupid crap i did so i can't talk or hear anyone or message anyone for a while. i admit i made some mistakes but i am not a bad person i just had a idgaf moment. i can still join games and run raid. i may not be able to talk or hear but i still have my eyes and i have the skill to play.

I got lucky and had a group take my lvl 25 warlock to the vault twice. They were not disappointed as I held my own and had few deaths (mostly due to exploding supplicants)

1 ReplyMight get some hate for this and I might get some love. Keep in mind I had never beat the hard raid "legit" But here it goes.. I have a level 30 Hunter and Warlock. Had to get the last piece of gear through Iron Banner since RNG would not grant me the privilege of being level 30. So last night I felt like raiding, messaged a guy on here that was looking for a few guys to raid with. Join in and get a team. Me and another 30, four 29s and a 28. The one guy suggested we do the hard raid because he had the oracle checkpoint that way we get double rewards and have a chance at better gear. He talked the guy into so we did that. Cruised through the oracles and templar, made it through the gorgons and figured that was it we'd finish it on easy. We decided to give it a run. We got through the gatekeeper part relatively easy. Then Atheon shows up and roughs us up. We had a few good ports but it fell apart. The one guy kept getting disconnected it. He rejoined as we were playing but sure enough we had an awesome run. We beat Atheon with two 30s, two 29s and a 28 with one 29 "dead" as he rejoined in. And we did it somewhat easily. The fact that we did it with only one person having real hard raid experience proves anyone can do it. If they're a decent raider and know the mechanics it's really not that difficult. We could not believe that we somehow manage to beat Atheon so easy. I didn't get jack but I was so pumped up from beating him the first time legit with such an "underpowered" team.

3 Replieslol me and my friends ran through one of my pals lvl 23 characters and he did pretty good actually, he ended up getting some raid gear out of it too which is a plus.

The most efficient method of doing the hard raid is a group of 30's with one, maybe two 29 players that have maxed weapons. 26 players aren't competitive enough in normal, regardless of weapon values. This is because your level determines damage output, but I'm sure you know that so I won't patronize you with the details. A 26 can do the raid, but will struggle. Even 27 will struggle. 28 and above is most efficient for normal, maybe a 30 or two to balance out a 27 or 26. But most people are lazy. Or maybe they've done it and don't have any incentive to run it again. I have 3 28 characters and don't care about level 30 one bit. I'll play Crota's End and level up then. Because nobody wants to play the raid 15 times and get no raid gear. RNGesus is among us, lest you forget. And apologizing afterwards doesn't make up for the huge generalization you made in reference to all players of said levels. Some people, like me, work 65 hours a week. Or just don't have the patience to listen to 15 year olds argue about their penis sizes. I raided with a motley group of adults, and we didn't always agree but we got it done. I'm very grateful to them. Sounds like you need a lesson in patience. Or better friends.

2 RepliesThe people that get on you for being under leveled NEED you to be higher because they can't handle one person a level down. My friends let me in on my 24. We never wiped, and I didn't get carried. (I got boots for 25 during, or else I would have switched for the 28 room).

It's not that hard I went from level 1 to level 29 on my warlock in less than a week, Normal one is a waste of time.I wouldn't even consider the normal raid unless I was a level 28. Why should other people have to try harder because your too lazy to level your shit up.

That being said, I'm not sure why your guy is 26. You should have more than enough shards (I'm guessing you have 150-250 right now) to get to 27. It's annoying but honestly you could have farmed the helium filaments you need in the half hour plus it took you to try to search for a game then post this thread. In my opinion, if I see someone that doesn't even have the first defense upgrade for multiple pieces of his armor I think he's lazy. I leveled up my Titan and Hunter to 28 before I even tried to look for a raid for them. "I shouldn't have to level up to meet your requirements" Well if you're looking to join a group you actually do lol. Problem is there's no real way to differentiate a 26 has 2 30s as well and the fresh 26 with 1 legendary weapon. Here a tip: Run some 29s through hard with one of your 30s in exchange for them helping you first/after on your 26. My 29 hunter still needs a body and I'm always looking for 30s to help make the search a little easier. Edit: The OP doesn't have the first def upgrade (like the very first one) on two separate pieces of armor.

2 RepliesPersonally I wouldn't run normal with anyone lower than 27 if I still ran the raid on normal. It has nothing to do with what guns or how much skill you have. 26 and below just die fast and it always happens. For hard raid anything under 29 is unacceptable. There is no reason some one wearing at least full legendary gear cannot be level 29. Spend the shards, get the defense and make yourself useful.

Not everyone that level is mean, I'm level 28 and 29 on my hunter and titan respectively, and I would run you through, I enjoy helping people a ton, most people are rude, yes, but same as level 30s when it comes to a 29 trying to run hard raid, they don't want to help me, but I enjoy helping lower levels level up, if you play on ps4 let me know, I'll let you join me up

Ive ran normal raid with 2 25s before. But may be because i play on ps4

18 RepliesOP, you're an ass. You have 2x level 30 characters, so clearly you understand the raid is difficult. I wouldn't take a level 26 random into the raid either. You might as well try playing the raid with a broken thumb, as being level 26 is generally a large handicap in the raid. Have you ever taken a 26 random through the raid? Also, let's call out the fact that if you're a level 26, [b]mathematically you can farm and get to level 27/28![/b] Which makes me infer that you literally only wanted to raid because of the massive amounts of shards/energy you stand to get, i.e. you want someone else to do the work while you collect the reward. Get off your ass and go farm that shit like the rest of us poor assholes who had to do it to climb to 28. Stop trying to call people out when in reality, [b]YOU[/b] are the one being a douche.

2 RepliesDude.... I can run through the normal raid at 25 on my hunter and still do awesome. In fact, we had two level 30s with us who got downed before anyone else (all other levels 26, 27, 26). Myself and a level 27 brought us back form the brink of wiping on the last wave of oracles because everyone else got overrun. This includes me dipping and weaving through the swarms to get cleansed while almost dead, to find out the pool was gone, to then turn around and revive 3 people, and run back as soon as the pool respawned to get cleansed before dying. My point: it is very LARGELY skill and not level.
