I know you want more Vault space. Our team knows you want more Vault space. We just need to find the right way to do it. This will take time. I don't need petitions to listen to you. A good idea that no one else agrees with is still a good idea. Love, DeeJ

I do know how to code. I'm only 23 but I've coded websites. Designed banners on photoshop and illustrator for exhibitions for a health company that has 15 branches. I've designed 3D models on maya. IT and Design isn't even my area of expertise. It is theirs though, they make a living off it. Firstly, before you call someone a sill kid, do research on them. Don't ask rhetorical questions. Secondly, Don't bumlick a company that doesn't give a -blam!- about you. They've had more than enough time to role out simple updates. Yet they take their sweet time with it. So quick to make things difficult, eg. Fix exploits, nerf weapons. So slow to make things easier, eg. Multiple bugs in vault of glass, weapon buffs. Thirdly. Dickhead.

  • If they mess it up, everything in everyone's vault can be deleted. I would much rather have them take their time.

  • If you guys are listening and considering these things, why not put something up on the website? It would be nice to see a list of things you are considering and answers to whether or not they will be implemented (once decided). Obviously you cannot track everything but there are a lot of topics that come up over and over again and these would be a good place to start.

Its not really that complicated...you keep the dedicated vault for sharing between accounts and you add a vault in our useless ships for individual characters... p.s. hell, could make it even more interesting and have uncommon, rare and legendary ships have increasingly more room...

And then everyone would complain about the time the loading screens takes. More space hasn't been done yet cuz of that. Edit: dont get me wrong i do think those are good ideas but hard to accomplish

  • It's not that we want more vault space. It's that we need more with all the new gear coming up. Hell, I've already broken down quite a bit of legendaries just because I didn't have enough room.

  • Add a next page button like the one for the roster tab to see all players in a match or the tower, adding another full 20 slots of each Vault category :) Thanks by the way. (if this will happen) >.>

  •
It's not the implementing they're concerned about, it's how to do it, if they give everyone an extra vault page, that's millions of extra bytes on their server, the servers disconnect people as it is but if there is more data running through it at any given time then it's gonna make the connectivity issues worse, that clear it up why it will take time?
How did we know that you knew? Did you post it on a weekly news post? Have you previously posted an answer to the "increased vault space" question? Have you posted, in any way, that you have heard your community on this question? No? Well, how then are we as community members suppose to know that you have heard us and are working to address our concerns? DeeJ, if you are tired of the constant "petitions" then try actually COMMUNICATING with the community before you post a snarky thread response. We are NOT mind readers. Unless you actually post a response your community has absolutely NO idea what you are communicating to your DEV team. IMHO, (and I have posted this before), better communication from YOU DeeJ would alleviate much of the misconception that Bungie "is not listening". You cannot expect your community to innately know what you are working on. Silence on an issue followed by a snarky thread post of "I hear you already" is NOT communication. EDIT: Spelling error.

  • It would be so great if he mentioned in the weekly thupdate the things he heard in the community and is paying attention to.

  • agreed, we post whats on our mind and stuff that we think will improve the game. But we have no clue whats going on behind bungies walls. All we have is the news and anything from deej. But deej is hard to contact and we never know he is there.

  • I've seen him post about this twice before, saying that he thought we should have more vault space and would bring it up. Granted, it's not realistic to expect people to see those posts because they were also replies to a user's thread like this one.

  • I can understand the sheer volume of material the community manager sees. I can also understand that it is impossible to respond to all of it. However, when an issue arises that a vast majority of the community either believes in or desperately wants to see implemented into the game the community manager (DeeJ) MUST make a weekly news posting addressing the idea/issue. Had vault space been addressed by DeeJ in a weekly news post and the OP still posted a petition about it then I could understand his "snarky" response. Since he had not addressed the idea, his thread response comes off more like "shut up" and less like "we heard you". Like I stated..... COMMUNICATION.

  • I'm not being facetious toward the guy, i just suspect that Deej must have some layers to go through in the company before posting anything so the post might come his handle but in reality it likely represents many people's voices or the consensus from Bungie.
