Timur's lash vs fatebringer

Timur's lash: Level 28 guardian hitting a red bar 28 does 1665 precision. One hits basic enemies, two hits the knights. Body shots hit 555. This two hits basic enemies. Level 30 guardian in hard raid: Does 1338 precision damage to major goblins. This is a two shot kill to hobgoblins and goblins. If you do a precision shot, it will take 3 more body shots to finish the goblin off. For normal redbar goblins, precision damage will be 1665. This will get them to about 5% health and a single body shot will finish the job. Crucible: hits 95 to the head, it is a 3 shot but after the second headshot they are about 10% health. Hits 64 to the body. And takes 4 body shots to kill. If you hit one headshot it will take another two body shots to kill. Something to note: on mine I have a perk where reloading after a kill gives a short damage bonus. This makes headshots do 127 and will two shot kill Fatebringer: Level 28 guardian killing level 28 enemies Precision damage is 1505. Body shots hit for 502. This makes it a 1 shot headshot on normal enemies, two shot body shot. Upon getting a headshot, you proc firefly. Firefly does 1062 damage to the surrounding enemies and will either 1 shot them or get them to a 1 shot body shot (for enemies like (hobgoblins) Level 30 guardian in hard raid: On red bar goblins it is a 1505 for precision damage, making it a 1 shot body shot afterwards. On major goblins it hits 1254 precision and will two shot with precision damage. If you hit one precision shot it will take 3 body shots to finish them off. Crucible: Hits 84 precision damage. Also is a 3 shot to the head and if you hit 1 headshot it will take two body shots to kill. All bodyshots is a 4 shot to kill Final conclusion: Fatebringer is better is almost every way. It takes the same amount of shots to kill as the Timur's lash on most enemies, aside from some very high health majors. In addition, fatebringer has decent recoil and a 12 round "magazine" by default. With the timur's lash, you have to pick from a 13 round magaize or have low recoil. Without field scout you have 7 rounds and this is extremely low. One thing to note about the Timur's lash is if you process Reactive Reload, you will get two shot kills in crucible.

There was this post a while ago.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBvsEnzLZkQ And if you take all of his damage findings, etc, and assign ranks to the values, Timur's Lash finishes a little ahead of Hawkmoon. My comment is the top on YouTube right now where I actually did out the ranking that he left out at the end of his video. However, his rankings also take into account specific perks that he may have had on guns like Timur's, for example, he rated his as VERY HIGH range, but the one I have did not get Send It but rather Perfect Balance. Either way it definitely is not terrible as it offers the highest individual hits of any HC.
