I'll say this now, if you are only 30 because of IB gear you will never be welcome in my raid.
I saved my titan raid run for today, needed 3 players so we got on lfg all 3 were 30 and all 3 are the reason it took 3 and a half mother -blam!-ing hours to finish.
It use to be lvl 30 meant I didn't have to wonder if you knew wtf you were doing ( last week ) the raid isn't crucible, sitting on your vagina in a corner doesn't win games.
Edit: that's not to say I only play with 30's But If You Are 30 With 2 IB Pieces it doesn't mean you can do it on hard. Lvl isn't everything.
Edit: my god this community is retarded, I said " level isn't everything" generally speaking if you have full raid gear then you have run the raid enough to know what you are doing, but if- you know, I don't really care anymore if you can't see the value of a raid experienced lvl 30 as opposed to someone whose done half a normal run then you a jackass

Um... So when someone powers down to 29 to level new gear, so that they have a build other than the one forced on them by their first four raid armor drops- even assuming no doubles.... they are no longer good enough for you? Excellent.

Did I say that? No. My titan is only 27 right now because I just got better boots and gauntlets today. Myself and 1 other were the only 30's on my run today and we beat it in about 45 minutes, I Clearly Said Lvl Is Not EVERY thing.

Edited by Bishop2kb3: 11/25/2014 8:07:05 PMI say this, as a clan we had a blast runic iron banner, and after and before I bought the iron banner gear it dropped in the hard raid for me, I know have a full set of titan raid armour and gauntlets and greaves, and I like them both, gives more variety and the perks are just as good on each set. People like you need to get off your high horse and have a big old cup of shut the fuk up, because people with iron banner gear to hit 30 did earn it, lucky drop in a 2 hour raid, or a 5-10 hour grind in crucible with shit ping and glitch lords cleaning house because there not where there supposed to be then having to grind 20k glimmer to actually then buy the gear they've worked the rep for. Lvl 30 is still lvl 30, come talk to my clan were all on our way to 30 and we don't care how you do it, it just matters that your having fun doing it... Edit 1: I know guys from raid clans that are lvl 30 with full gear that don't know there arse hole from there elbow and take up to 3 hours to help a normal raid because there so cock sure they know what there doing they fuk up and cause a wipe because there trying to superman solo everything because there hardcore raid 30, or there that guy that joins at the gorgons lair and snipes the chests, leave at the jumps and rejoin at atheon because they can't do the jumps and can't handle the portals...

Honestly, you have a point. Too many times I have taken level 29s and now some 30s from the forums into hard mode to find out they don't know what to do. They are also dying all the time. Most of the time I want to get it done quickly, so I want experienced non dying high damage dealers. It used to be if people were decked out in full raid gear, they could be trusted to know their shit because they did the grind of 30+ completes to finally get the gear. But I do agree that the crucible should give 30 level gear. Crucible takes a lot of skill and determination. Next time you take a 30 with IB gear, just simply ask them if they know what they are doing. There is no shortage of people LFGs, so boot the guy if he keeps dying and hope for better.

Sooo, if you see my Hunter with IB gauntlets & boots but I have a Vex Helmet, a Vex Mythoclast, a ice breaker & a Gjallarhorn, I still won't be welcomed? Lol that's funny. I'm sure I'm better than you in all aspects of the game. I can do it all but obviously you judge a book by it's cover.

So basically you're saying: Cheesing through the raids to reach 30 > Fourty or so Iron Banner matches to reach 30 ??? I have played plenty of raids with VoG-virgins. And you know what? You are supposed to help them, explain them! I once was a VoG-virgin, and I was in a group of a bunch of 10-year olds that cheesed through the raid a couple of times or were dangling in a baby carrier on the belly of some level 30s, running around jabbering they knew how it worked, constantly laughing and shouting the whole raid through like little schoolgirls at a One Direction concert. All the time. And guess what they didn't do: EXPLAIN the GODDAMN RAID to the other 2 VoG-virgins in our team! I'm betting you were one of them! Oh, and I got my IB gauntles.. so I'm glad I will never have to join YOUR raids!
