I have played inverted since N64 but none of my friends do. How many of us are there?
Edit; I am amazed to see how many of us there really are! This is awesome! We are not alone!
Edit: Started a poll! Let's see the numbers. Thanks to Sgt Cabose for the idea.

Always used to play inverted, again (as many others have said) thanks to goldeneye on the N64, it wasn't until halfway through the original xbox's life that I was converted and never looked back
-
I play inverted as well. Wish I could set as default for my PSN profile so I didn't have to switch every game.
-
Always inverted. But then again i'm pretty crap, so... Weirdly, I was playing something not long back (the name escapes me) which forced non-inverted. It seriously took me about 3 weeks to readjust afterwards.
-
Always inverted.
-
Inverted since golden eye
-
People choose to play non-inverted? Weird.
-
Same, inverted since I could choose the option on the N64. Really screws up friends (especially during halo days) when I'd hand them the controller and they start getting shot realizing the controls were backwards.
-
I've been an inverted player since wing commander 2 on pc. Long ago. Played flying combat Sims long before three-dimensional shooters came out, so inverted, like flight controls, is second nature to me. I'm terrible if I'm not inverted
-
Up is down foo, I can't press up to look up.
-
If you play inverted, then the terrorists have already won.
-
Inverted 4 life.
-
I've been inverted since N64 also.
-
I play inverted. Ever since Goldeneye N64
-
I play inverted, I think it is because the first '3D' game I played was a flight Sim, so it just felt natural to pull down on the mouse (PC) to look up. Then when I got my first FPS on console (halo) it felt normal to pull back the stick to look up. Last survey I read (I think it was on ign or games radar) it was about 10% inverted over the thousands of people who voted All my brothers and sisters play inverted too, probably from having a go of my games while young, and learning how to control the camera inverted. There is no better or worse way to play, it is simply what you are familiar with.
-
Its the only way to play, surely?
-
I play with inverted controls. I've been doing so since Sega Genesis, with a cool jet fighter game. I never changed since then.
-
I do, and every time I tell my friends I do, they are astounded.
-
Redo this as a poll. Would love to see the numbers break out!
-
I play inverted and southpaw Quick off topic question but related to this: does anybody know if sunset overdrive doesn't offer a southpaw option? Played the trial this weekend and couldn't find the option to switch. Thanks for any insight.
-
I do. I don't want to mess with the controls though because my wife doesn't like it. So I sit on my head and do it that way
-
I used to waaaaay back in the day when I played shooters on N64 and up through PS2. I don't know when exactly I stopped, but I keep the y axis inverted for almost any air vehicle in any game. I can see how people still like it, but on the other hand, I have a friend that plays on 1 sensitivity, and that just blows my mind.
-
I've been playing inverted as long as you have been playing it. How awesome! Lol. I'm the only person IRL that I know that plays inverted.
-
I understand who someone would play inverted but I think it's simpler to look up and aim up. Plus I'm used to it.
-
Also an inverted player. It just feels better, but try to explain that to an non inverted player :)
-
No but I use mouse and keyboard
-
Is that like when you get the beans over the frank? If so, then yes. I'm doing that right now.
