VOC with mag upgrade to 27 is a pretty great riffle, but I really want the demise for the explosive rounds. Seems better suited for PVE than PVP in which the VOC reigns supreme.

You can reforge the Demise, and with Fitted Stock the Stability isn't much of an issue. If you're a Gunslinger, then the Stability is a non issue in PvE all together.

Are the explosive rounds one of the things possible to change in the toll though? That's really all I want the riffle for.

Each time you reforge, your three sights, both main perks and three changeable perks are all randomly selected. Firefly is in the roll list, so it is possible to roll it again. I've rolled it 3-4 times in 21 rolls. If you want Firefly, you also want Fitted Stock.

That's quite a few rolls. Not sure I love those odds. Especially since I'm a little low on mites at the moment. I guess I'll have to give it a shot anyway. Thanks for the info.

Fortunately I had a lot of Motes before the event even started. If you're unsure, then buy another Demise and reforge that one. Worst case scenario; you waste 11000 Glimmer and some Motes of Light. You can also keep and use your original.
