I think the blue and purple drops are fine. Seeing that they have made legendary engrams a garenteed legendary or higher, I think players would level up and get stuff too fast. If you want more blues, play vanguard tigers, I can get 3+ blue per missions(20m).

Yeah easily the best way I've found to get blues. Purples are still very very rare though

Ya dude I sometimes get 4 engrams as a reward a swell as random drops during strikes
