"I earned level 30" -_-
After countless hard mode raids only to be rewarded weapons, ships and energy I was ready to quit this game. No thanks to RNGesus, I'll be reaching lv 30 by tomorrow morning. To everyone hating on the IB. Blow me! The sense of self entitlement in this community makes me sick.
Note ** I erased one of my level 29's to increase my chances at 30 with my Titan. Also it's my belief that hard mode is meant for level 30's with an acception of a 29 or two. With that said, beating VOG will be that much easier for me with a 20% boost in damage output.

I earned my lvl 30 in IB...and i always carry the whole team so i really deserve to become lvl 30

Confession. I got vex mythoclast my first ever hard raid. After that people just assumed I was some all star raider and kept asking me for help, so I stopped wearing it because I still didn't know what I was doing for all the fights... lol

Thanks to IB i now have a lvl 30 and another one whos just 2 upgrades off 30. 2 RepliesHaving transcended the boundaries between 30 from VoG and IB, I'll put my opinion in. I have 2 characters, both 30. 1 with full raid gear and 1 with raid helm, chest, and gloves with IB boots. Cannot tell you how many times I've raided with both characters but I can tell you 1 was 30 waaaaaaay before the other. That poor 29 of mine paid his dues in the VoG and didn't get the level to show for it. So yes, I took this character into Lord Saladin's Arena of Badassdom and proceeded to claw and ass-kick my way to 30. He earned it dammit! And nobody can make me feel otherwise. So cry me a river you IB hating, self-righteous, trolling SOB's. I earned all my gear, no matter where it came from. Long live the Iron Banner!

I respect IB gear more than VoG gear. Why? Because I know for a fact you had to work at it, no chance of cheesing like the Raid. That said, IB gear isn't as good perk wise, and even though I earned a couple sets I won't be using it except for aesthetics.

People's counter argument to me is I only have 14 or so completions but, they don't see the incompletions. The struggle, stress, me and my fellow 29's endured. The times my raid members and I couldn't get a full raid team to complete. All the friends I helped raid that wouldn't help me after they reached 30.

Congratulations on reaching lv30 through 2nd party means, you'll be straight back in the Raid on reset to try and replace your ib Armour with the genuine article.

1 Replynice one mate ive just made a new type of character and ive been playing banner to get the boots. once i had maxed them i was lvl 27 so i jumped into the raid and smashed through it only to get shards every checkpoint and then atheon only gave me chatterwhites and a -blam!-ing epilogue.... ): not even one piece of gear
