Less BLUE in the Amor SHADERS, More Variety Please?

I agree.

I get your point, but I don't really care.

Return to your domicile, sir! You are intoxicated!

Throughout "Destiny", I've never actually used an armor shader, until recently, for more than a minute. The reason being that nearly every shader has some twist of blue. Seriously, almost EVERY shader, even the ones that don't even have blue in the icon. When I got the Beowulf I was excited to finally get a non-blue shader. I'm not a red guy, but I was willing to make an exception. Of course, when I equipped it, there was BLUE. I know there are a few exceptions, but they're either purple, or same green foresty thing. I know there are two Black ones, but one is exclusive to people who preordered the new "Call of Duty". There's also the white shader you can get from the Raid, but that's it. 2 non-exclusive shaders that aren't blue, purple, or some weird tree-man look, which even then, are all colors made from blue! This may seem like a silly complaint, but I really don't like blue, it's not my color. I've always been more fond of brown, black, yellow, etc. With almost everything having blue on it, it takes away a lot of variety for players, like me, who really like to personalize their character. I understand you guys probably don't want to do custom shaders, at least not for levels below the current cap, but can we at least see more variety in shaders? Faction armors have more variety. Black and white, Red and white, and that whole "Viva Pinata" thing the Future War Cult does. The equipment at the Vangaurd Armory does. White and yellow, Dark brown and red, dark brown and yellow, yellow and green, etc. Ships all have their own unique color schemes. Yellow, black and red, Dark Brown and yellow, beige and black, white and blue, dark grey and black, dark grey and purple. Even Sparrows. Black, red, blue, green, brown, etc. Why, with all this variety in vehicles and armors, are shaders, an option that's supposed to be the force of personalization, the freedom from the concrete schemes of what we've been given, are almost all the shaders some sort of blue? Even the current shader I just equipped, that I was talking about earlier, the new shader "Thunder Devil", has a twist of blue. A dark grey-ish blue, sure, but still blue. I know this sounds sily, and please don't take offense by this, but I'm really annoyed with the variety in shaders, especially when compared with all the variety put in the original looks for everything else. I hate blue, so please, give me more options. So yeah... Thank you.

  • Undercity, which is for sale at Eva RIGHT NOW is actually brown, red, and yellow, and looks really nice and ratty for any class, especially for titans. In fact, on a warlock, it looks like the guy who was in the Dark Below Promo. I agree that shaders need much more than just BLUE, CAMO, or SOLID options for coloration though. I'd love a shader with racing stripes, or an ugly patchwork design, to really fit the bedraggled wizard or veteran warrior idea.
