yes , they didnt add matchmaking to the most relevant game modes and are forcing me to waste my time spamming forums just to get to play the damn game

Raid matchmaking would be a joke... C'mon man.

to me its a joke i have to go outside of the game, spam forums for hours , just to play the game try play FF14 , there are much harder raids , yet you can make groups directly ingame ....

I understand why players want matchmaking but that presumes you would be made with the perfect team mates each time. You are on hard raid as a level 29 & find yourself matched with noobs of level 28 or even level 29 that haven't played Raid on Normal yet. Alternatively you find the level 30's you are matched with all disappear because they are only going to raid with other level 30's. The likelihood is that matchmaking would be swamped with chancers who are giving Raid a go in the same way they attempt a level 18 strike when they are level 15 etc. Nothing to lose, I may get some cool gear etc. The outcome would probably be a nightmare for the genuine, capable players. I am nearing level 29 myself & want to Raid. As much I would like matchmaking I understand why it isn't in. It is also another part of becoming level 30. That little bit more effort putting together/finding a Raid team.

I suppose a level with level matchmaking COULD work but having the mixture is key in order to beat certain parts. I agree forums suck but you just need to be smart about the people you roll with.

I see you have 2 level 30's , do you not keep in contact with those players who did the Raids with you then ? Not arguing with you just curious as presumably some of those guys must have been pretty good. If you have found good team mates before I would be trying to keep a good team going.

i have added 200 people to my friendlist just because of destiny.... but those people only had time for the one game when i added them , for each game i wanna play i have to add more people

OK fair enough, that sucks. I am not convinced you would be any happier with matchmaking as I suspect you would just have different problems/ issues as I posted above. I think you would have every random, afk & just plain incapable joining a Raid because it is easy to do so. From my own perspective I know I am not ready to Raid if only because I have barely levelled Purple weapons. Armour I am fine though. I would be tempted to matchmake Raids though, which wouldn't be fair on the unfortunates matched with me. That is my point really. Easy matchmaking brings its own issues. I see your viewpoint though, having gone through it.

True - but otherwise you might get level 27 in a hard raid... Is that what you want?
