Can we have the Iron Banner for a bit longer than 7 days?
We had the Queen's Wrath for like 3 weeks, but the Iron Banner event has been repeatedly much more restricted in terms of the window of opportunity to play and get rewarded.
Unfortunately, there are those of us who have a job and can not play every day grinding out IB Ranks to obtain the awesome stuff. It would be nice if some of us were given an appropriate amount of time to get to Rank 5 and obtain the same goodies as those who seem able to play this thing 24/7.
Not to mention with the past few days on the One, just getting into an online game has been an absolute chore (thanks cloud servers...)

4 RepliesHonestly, I like that it's only one week. It's suppose to be limited time, which makes you want to play. I would literally feel less of an incentive to play as hard as I am if it was two weeks long just so that everyone could have the same iron banner gear. Two weeks or more would bring down the value placed on having Iron Banner gear. Also it's suppose to be an event. If the carnival came to your town for a month everyone would pretty much stop caring that it existed after the first weekend. I have a job, I'm in grad school, and I have a girlfriend and I still make time to play. I'm rank 3 right now and I am planning on at least getting to 4 by the end of the event for some gauntlets. Games should not be built to accommodate people who don't play them frequently. I don't think that all the kids in the league should get the big trophy just for participating. But that's just my opinion.
