Destiny take notes from Borderlands

I have been playing destiny since the launch of this game. Overall I think this game is great. But if destiny wants a shot in keeping this game alive they need to take notes from Borderlands. The creativity of the weapons and shields blows away any weapon from destiny. Instead of wasting countless hours patching and fixing weapons that are supposedly broken or too op. How about putting your creative mindset to the chalkboard and delivering more weapons. Focusing on old weapons is like crying over spilled milk. Just create more weapons with different perks and abilities. let's stretch out what op really means. From my point of view I feel like the creativity is limited and not be explored. If you want people to stay interested make the game interesting. Quit nerfing weapons and focus on other things such as building a better game and the community will follow.

  • You are comparing two different games. Kind of like saying call of duty should take notes on mario party because theres not enough mini games and koopas.

        • I would love it if all those laser sights, bipods and other aesthetic things actually contributed to the weapon's performance. Being able to choose between upgrades in Aliens Colonial Marines was fun, it also had a direct impact on the weapon's appearance. I dislike the random perks in both Destiny and borderlands (and Diablo for the matter). It seems to be the new way of things though, which is a bummer. Regardless, additional customization would be great, even if it was just aesthetic.
