Crucible Announcer - Do you like him?
It came to me last night that I really don't like the Crucible announcer. I played one particular game where I heard a new sound bite from him that left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I was dropped into a game where we were losing badly and the announcer [i]yells [/i] "FIGHT BACK!" as if I wasn't already playing my hardest.
When you're winning, he sounds kind of apathetic.
When you're losing, he just yells at you and makes you feel bad about it... rather than trying to uplift or encourage you.
I would like a new announcer. If you could get the guy from Soul Calibur, that would be swell. If not, a female voice would be a lot more soothing.

The constant "you're in the lead", "you're falling behind" back and forth over and over again is super annoying. I just feel like he is constantly stating the obvious and other times he's just a condescending jerk. Like, when my team is at 10,000 and the enemy is at 19,000 and he's all "you're not finished yet" or whatever. Um, what planet are you on? Of course, we're finished. Oh, or "this isn't a fight, it's a massacre" when you're winning by a thousand points or something. I don't know. Like, with all the audio stuff in this game, I wish I could mute him or turn him way down. I can't remember the last time I couldn't adjust different volumes in my game, but I'm sure it was sometime in the early 90's.
