Edited by DaoFerret: 11/21/2014 6:39:35 PMHmmm: - I woke up - went to Xur to turn in bounty for Invective - grabbed some PvE bounties - ran missions on the Moon, participated in a Public Event - turned those in, grabbed the Iron Banner bounties, turned on the bonus so I don't have to fly back to the tower when I get home - went to work At work I'm checking the Forum When I get home I plan on hitting the Iron Banner before dinner
Hi Everyone. My name is Dao Ferret and I'm a Desti-holic. Its been four hours since I turned in a bounty and I can feel the shakes coming on.

Oh, and as someone else said: Wife is definitely NOT happy. Going to have to make some time for her after Iron Banner finishes, fortunately she's away for the weekend with her girlfriends. :D
Edited by Aysnvaust: 11/21/2014 6:35:45 PMMy highest char is a lvl 9 hunter - I play Destiny about once a week for something like three hours or so. When I got in contact with Destiny - that was back in October last year - I felt like this would be as addicting as Vanilla-WoW. Lucky me it's not. At all. But I see quite a few fellow guardians commenting on your post, who are in serious troubles (imho), and I am not joking here. Guys, get your act together: RL > Destiny.

Edited by AJIc3CoLd: 11/21/2014 6:24:38 PMYou aren't the only one, I must be close to hitting 400 hours by now. This was trying to get all the weapons I want maxed (multiples of some) and getting all 30s. Now, having hit rank 5 on IB, maxing all characters and having all the weapons I want, I'm just gonna play on Tuesdays until the DLC.

I came to the same conclusion about my own Destiny gaming. There is no other excuse for me to be still grinding the same content after any number of fruitless raids have left me massively underwhelmed by my rewards. The game keeps kicking me in the nuts and I keep dusting myself down, then putting my nuts back in the firing line and expecting something different to happen.

Edited by me2ez: 11/21/2014 5:39:14 PMNothing really addicting about this game, they had the right idea but are forcing impatience, repetition and lack of unique character customization upon us gamers that are capable of a more critical thought process of the game. Basically they rebuilt this game to tease a more dumbed down call of duty base crowd and broke it down into pieces to sell as DLC. Fun game though, I dont mind playing it once a week from now on to see raids and farm a couple of things to improve stuff if need be but this game was capable of a much more potent addiction. The player likes me who would devote TOO much time into being competitive would cause a large crowd of people to uproar in anger and frustration. Ill wait and see whats to come though, hopefully they will develop this game into a more MMO fps game.

Same here. Affecting my work.

There's a difference between an addiction and a passion for something. I just don't know what it is.
