I have two maxed Hawkmoon, a Redhand with zen moment /perfect balance perk and a TDYK with third eye/perfect balance perk.
I find the legendary handcannon+Plan C is a better all purpose setup. Also they can land three head shots faster than Hawkmoon. I understand hawkmoon can 2-shot-kill very often, but any legendary handcannon with perfect balance perk is almost as good as hawkmoon.

Suppose it comes down to a Guardians personal loadout. Certainly sounds effective but the "bad@ssery" among handcannons leans towards HM at the moment, if I may say so myself.
