Stat wise it's not the best. Pretty close there are other legendary thst are better.

Hence why I'm not surprised that many HM owners feel that it is in fact, at this stage of the game, the very best handcannon in the game.

If your going by the stats that were posted the other day they only took into account time to kill they didn't however take in likely hood of death. Hawkmoon has superb range and good impact making it a great gun to kill those ars shottys and frs before they even pose a risk.
