does anyone else actually like destiny?
Everything on this forums is just people talking crap about bungie and their game. Does anyone else love this game? I can't put my controller down because this game is so fun in my opinion!
Edit: it's nice to see that so many people like this game. It seems like most of the community like the game and they're to busy playing to be on the forums!
I also understand a lot of you don't think I've "played" the game because im not level 30. You don't need to be maxed out to know everything about a game

In the last couple of weeks I've found myself just logging in to run some bounties and maybe a strike or two, attempt the weekly, but overall I'm not playing that much anymore and I'm sorry but a fancy looking redneck flames paintjob sparrow in my mailbox is not enough to keep me coming back. Honestly right now all that is keeping me in this game is the lack of any other games being out that I am interested in, not to mention 2014 as a whole has been the worst year for games in terms of every AAA title being a complete letdown. I'm also already invested in the DLC, so I'm going to give the game a chance to redeem itself in December, but unless the DLC is mind blowing and they fix the exotics soon I am probably going to be done with this game next month. The recent stealth nerfs and the constant misleading with the weekly updates has also proven to be very frustrating. Probably the most annoying thing is that this could be an amazingly great game but they just seem to keep tripping over their own feet in terms of the updates and not listening to what the players actually want and instead they give us what they think we want.

I like it a lot. Wish there was a little more content but that is being addressed over time. Otherwise, feels like halo but I get to control more about my character, which I always wanted. But haters will hate. Especially the ones with nothing better to do.

I like it a lot and can't wait for the DLC, I've bought AW, and Shadow of Mordor, and just picked up BF4 Premium Edition again, and I haven't beaten any of them yet, because Destiny withdrawals kick in.

I liked the game until I got tired of repeating the leveling cycle... That's what really did it for me, having to level up each weapon individually. I done got me Assassin's Creed Unity and GTAV so Destiny will just end up gathering dust like most promising games that I've purchased before.

Ive actually started Warframe recently and i prefer that game over destiny. It at least has variety in gameplay and content. And its cleaned up a lot since i remember playing a over a year ago. Dont get me wrong. I like destiny. It just bored the shit out of me after not too long.

Edited by PrometheusFire08: 11/19/2014 5:21:51 PMtypically a lot of console gamers treat their games like fast food . they remove the wrapper , gorge themselves and then throw the product in the garbage until they find their next 5min fix . it seems that destiny is DESTROYING this trend and has actually given us something ( for all ages of gaming ) that can last us quite a while . kinda like chess the fact that i have not even thought about purchasing Alien isolation or lord of the rings is staggering as i am a seriously hardcore mothertrucker when it comes to both those franchises

<3 this game and I'm addicted. However, I'm the hardest critic on the games that I love. They've assembled a solid, addicting mix of mechanics here but there's a few rough edges that cut me deeply. If they fixed those issues then yeah I could see myself here for years.

I love the game and am addicted. However I'm also extremely frustrated by it at the same time. My main issue is that it's too small and all I really have to do now is the same limited activities over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

I enjoy it a lot. The only bad thing is the forum community for it. Single handed makes it seem worse then it is. I have 4 other games I bought and only opened 2 (barely played) and have not opened the other 2 all since Destiny came out. So I can say I love this game. (games opened but rarely played are Shadows of Mordor and The Evil Within. Not opened Halo MCC and Dragon Age:I,)

I have enjoyed playing Destiny, but currently dont have the urge to pick it up every day. If some of my friends are on, I will jump on for a period, otherwise I am currently waiting for the DLC. For me I am waiting on a game that will really draw me in, my hopes are currently resting on Witcher 3 or The Division.... we shall see.

I love playing the game but it has its issues. Lack of content and repetitive being the major concerns along with randomly getting kicked.

I love the game! But you can't be a true fan of a game without recognizing it's downfalls. People that assume when others post a complaint that they are haters are just ignorant. You need to recognize the flaws so that the developers can make adjustments. Not calling you ignorant by any means by the way, that was just a broad statement lol.

I genuinely love the game.... yes there are things that need improving but what game doesnt? I just love the feel of the game as well as how much you can customize. I'm personally ok with not getting an exotic drop every twenty minutes... My biggest problem with this game is not the game at all, its this forum, I dont understand that if someone doesnt play the game anymore, why would you still be on this forum shitting on every comment..... I have to comb thru 30 posts before I find one thats not bashing the game. Just my .02

Destiny is an amazing game! Every day I can't wait to go home after work and play it. Nothing is perfect and their are some issues which Bungie are actively working on as we see with the updates. I believe people will talk about Destiny in many years after it's gone, which I hope Bungie stick to the 10 year plan. Will I still be playing it? I can't honestly give you an answer to that. I can say that I was an annual CoD player since 2007, but ever since this game came out CoD has been left in the box so there's no telling how I'm gonna feel years down the line. I think people give Bungie a hard time, mainly out of frustration, maybe they just had a bad Crucible match or Atheon cheesed them bad, who knows? I hope I still love the game, I hope the storyline improves and get's more bigger and intense. I hope the content is unique and appealing enough to keep me coming back for more. But for now, roll on The Dark Below.
