BUNGIE : This is ridiculous. NEED ADMIN RESPONSE

Ever since last tuesday ive gotten beaver error code when trying to join tower. Now that iron banner is out, i get the same error when attempting to load the map. Ive opened all ports necessary. When will this be fixed? What is my next step? Will i be compensated for time lost since iron banner is limited time? UPDATE: Still getting beaver, and now anteater CURRENT NO PLAY TIMER : 16 Days (updated daily) I am on PS4 I have forwarded all necessary ports I have tried wireless and wired This only happens with Destiny, no other game Ive tried UPnP without the ports. Ive tried contacting ISP. Its an issue at Bungie. Im sure of it ANOTHER UPDATE: I am looking in to a refund because this is absolutely ridiculous. After 14 days I still can't play, and others have the same issue. Destiny is the only broken game for me. Bungie's response is to talk to the original retailer for a refund but I didn't know that I wouldn't be able to play the game. If a refund is refused, I will filing a class action lawsuit against Bungie for releasing a broken game that I can't even play. You had 500 million dollars to make the game. Now it's time to fix it.

  • Hi The Silence, I'm sorry about the repeated BEAVER errors you are seeing. This error is caused by a failure to connect to another players console via the internet. We have found that, in many cases, players can change their home network configuration to help reduce these errors. First, please read our BEAVER help article here: http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11790. I would suggest enabling UPnP or opening ports (not forwarding!) and to undo any port forwarding you have done. Port forwarding is a delicate procedure that can worsen a situation if done incorrectly and is not a magic bullet for network issues. If you have performed all of the troubleshooting steps called out above and are still hitting these errors, you may not be able to resolve this issue by changing your home network. Bungie is carefully monitoring BEAVER issues preventing players from having a quality Destiny experience, and we are working very hard to investigate and address these issues.

    • Absolutely nothing wrong with my connection every other game works fine for me, I think it's just straight up ridiculous how bungie Still hasn't fixed this, I get beaver non stop on the way to a game, just after the start of a game, even in the middle of a game or at the end and crucial last minutes of a game. It's just terrible how this hasn't been addressed yet. So now you say it's because I can't connect to other players consoles? I DONT WANT TO CONNECT TO OTHER PEOPLES CONSOLES IF THAT IS WHAT TRYING TO CINNECT THEM DOES, why is it that I can be in a game already or even just kicking it in the tower or sometimes JUST IN THE MIDDLE OF BUYING SOMETHING and then BANG out to orbit because someone else has joined the game? If someone is joining a game or just the tower that doesn't mix well with my console kick them not me I'm already happy aging my game I don't care to have it ruined by some random death box of a console trying to join a game I'm already in, already having the highest score in already holding a team or even if I'm doing bad if I'm getting kicked out a game I want a better reason than oh errm well we've looked into it n it's just that errm well we really don't know so we'll Blame someone else excuse. I want something done. If someone is trying to join a tower session or a crucible game that's ALREADY UNDERWAY and it's gonna cause someone else to get booted for it then don't let them in the game or at least make it so there is no join in progress or if it's someone trying to get to the tower then let them get into the tower on their own instead of pushing into someone else's game who was just happily minding their own business. Just get it fixed bungie, we don't care about all the parties your having or who's making little videos about destiny or any of that bull. We want to play the game we payed good hard earned cash for GET IT FIXED

      • We are having the same issue on Xbox 360, I bought my son this game and he was disconnected 8 times in 40 minutes. I have posted 3 times with no response from Bungie. They are also not an accredited company with the Better Business Bureau of whom has over 20 complaints filed on Bungie and not one reply from Bungie. Since Activsion is listed on the game as well I have filed a complaint with them. I have no doubt that Bungie is a small company and does not care or have the man power to correct these issues. There customer service is piss poor and with as many posts on all these issues people need to contact the Attorney generals office to file complaints. If they sold the game and knowing it can not be played properly then it is an act of fraud.

          OK let me see if I get this right, you @xTHExSILENCE are having problems #Beaver error over and over, then bungie, through one of their chat guys, tell you to read the link they sent and as a plus ITS YOUR DAMN FAULT... ARE THESE GUYS SERIOUS??? Lets see the problem from a different angle, lets say all these error codes are just there to create a false sence of "security" -oh looks like Ive encountered a problem, and in this article I can see the problem is in my network, thank God bungie put all these codes so I can see my internet sucks- WHAAAAAT??? Bungie is going in a very bad direction right now, not only because the game isnt working also because they arent fixing it! They put the blame on our network, ALWAYS ON OUR SIDE! I havent seen a single response saying "sorry guys we are working on the problems" all there posts are to make sure we know ITS OUR FAULT THE GAME ISNT WORKING CORRECTLY! and thats IF they feel generous enough to answer any question or complaint. Im seriously getting tired of this crap, ive spent 94 bucks on this game already, and as a consumer IM NOT GETTING MY MONEYS WORTH HERE! Great games are comming out this year and for the way things look I dont know if I´ll stick loyal to play... try to play this game for very long. Just one last thing to think about, have you noticed how all error codes lead to the same problem? #weasel #bee #beaver #caterpillar #baboon all of them are the same thing with the same symptoms and the same "solution"

        • Honestly if I see one more update/patch/fix w/e the heck they want to call their tinkering that does anything other than fix connectivity issues I'm out. Bungie needs to get their priorities straight and realize that they are rapidly burning up everyone's patience and good will. I'm not sure where everyone else stands on it, but I'm tired of every Bungie response on this forum saying "Sorry your having problems, but its your fault.". If you pursue legal action I'm sure there's about a million people who'd jump on that with you.

          • I'm right there with you Silence...I can get on and all and even go to the planets...but within 20 minutes I'm kicked back into orbit and every time I try to go to the tower I can't and get kicked into orbit again with error code "Beaver" I was doing just fine until today. So yes you are right...It is on Bungie's end cause being a Network Admin I know how to make my end work properly. When Activision is involved mistakes can't be admitted. "END OF LINE"

            • Thats sucks dude..it feels like Im the only person on destiny that hasnt gotten one error or kicked or any problems at all, other then glitching on vog runs but other then that I havnt had one error sofar

              • I feel your pain did all of those things and of course they didn't work. My gaming experience has been messed up since Halloween. Waiting for Far Cry 4 to come out, and the new barman game.

              • Constant beaver, leopard, bee, ect. since 11/17 update. Never had a single issue before then.

                • But they patched the exploits! That's the most important thing. Telling you how to play the game you paid for is more important than the game actually working obviously. Every resource they have should be working on the connectivity issues until this crap is fixed instead of wasting time forcing players to play the game they way they want it played. Good grief. And on top of that Microsoft can't even make something as simple as the friend list work.

                • Hey man, been getting Beaver ever since the first update back in septembre, sometimes thing's are fine, but yes for Iron Banner it"s pretty much -blam!-ed. Barely managed to get to level one last time due to Beaver error, and nothing's changed since. Also happens often in the Tower or for strikes. I even get booted from Patrol sometimes. Always Beaver. I have tried every troubleshooting advice they have given and nothing has worked.
