Normally I would agree, but since this game consists of nothing but running the same handful of objectives to earn new equipment to do the same handful of objectives again with slightly bigger numbers this time, rinse and repeat Ad Infinitum, it's nice to have an easy way to fast forward on the objectives we don't enjoy as much.
