Gamers find the best strategies to play games. IT IS THAT SIMPLE.
It has always been this way, just like when we use to go from world 1-2 to 8-1, or get 100's of lives from the turtle on Super Mario. Were those patched? Fvck NO! And those games are more "Legend" than Destiny will ever be.
Stop patching things that give gamers the "advantage" to cover up poor design. It is just making Destiny look worse. If anything, patch the stuff that really is wrong, LIKE RAID GLITCHES & DISCONNECTS!

Where could you go straight from 1-2 to 8-1 without first stopping at 4-2? Warping was coded into the game. This is a bad example as it was intended for players to use it. That, and it's hard to patch a cartridge. To your point, the Dev's said at the beginning that we were to discover their world and use it to our advantage. I could understand if there was a glitch where we could "rub" into a rock and shoot out while being impervious to damage, but hiding under a dock area where damage can still be received probably should have been left alone. Like you said, there are other things that should have had their attention first.
-
An open hole under a dock was clearly coded into the game. When pushing Atheon it still recognizes him as being defeated. As with many other things that have been patched or nerfed, it is clear that they were in fact part of the game. It is clear that Bungie is only changing them to "make it harder" because of lack of content. If they wanted it hard, they should of designed it that way in the first place. Patching unbroken things is making them look foolish.

I don't think you read the second part of my reply.

Games are puzzles and to solve a puzzle you look for the best possible win. Am I wrong? When you play chess do you try to win the hardest possible way? In a football game do you give them a 21 point head start or take the ball and run strait at the biggest guy on the Line? I think not........
-
I agree. In chess, do you randomly teleport half your pieces to random parts of the board? Nope. Maybe the creator of chess never thought to patch it so that it would be harder and "work as intended". lol

Lol nice!

Very well said brother Bungie needs to wake up and stop alienating their gamers....aka the people that bought and are playing this game. They keep this garbage up and players will leave.
-
Why worry about glitches when people don't even bother to play the game anyways. No need to fix the teleport bug, people are just going to push him off anyways -_-
-
Please just go away. Your failure to even understand how stupid you sound is giving me a headache...
-
Yeah because im sure you love exiting the portal only to be stuck in the time stream still. Even better when the Templar or Atheon are about to die, and you have been disconnected. I take it you have no strategy. You just run around like a chicken with its head cut off. How does that work for you when you grab the relic? Do you not use it at all, or at certain times, or go to certain locations? There is strategy in everything dummy. If Bungie feels the need to keep taking away the way some gamers play, then it is showing nothing more than a poor design. Of course I know you could not patch a cartridge, because it wasnt connected to the internet. The point was, since you were too stupid to get it, was that gamers have been finding exploits since the beginning. That is not "stupid" that is a fact.
There is strategy in everything dummy. Yes I'd rather like them fix bugs like the portals not working or enemies regaining health, but then there's changing things that break how the game was mean to be played. Like Skyrim, you could reach 100 smithing by making a shit-ton of iron daggers. Sure it helped people reach 100 but like hell Besesthda planned on that happening.
-
They patched spamming Iron Daggers for easy Blacksmith levels. :P

-
Eff the blacksmithing. Duel wield muffle.
-
Those old games didn't have internet...

Kinda hard to patch a cartridge. Lol
