Should the Cryptarch sell better items based off of rank?

I was just shocked to see from the iPhone app that the Cryptarch was selling a legendary item, an exotic item, and an assortment of blues while I was waiting for the new update to install. This got me excited because I thought that the Cryptarch had been changed to adjust the rarity of what he sells based off of the rank you were with him. I'm currently rank 60 so it seemed plausible, but once I reached the tower I was knocked to the floor by his regular assortment of commons and uncommons that are his usual stock. Now I am asking you and bungie, why can't the Cryptarch sell items with a higher rarity based off of your Cryptarch rank? It seems ridiculous that he doesn't, now I'm not asking for him to start selling legendary and exotics in the first 100 levels. But at least up the rarity from commons and uncommons to uncommons and rares. What do you think about this? Voice your opinions down below!

 • It would be swell but it would be a bit broken. Since his engrams cost glimmer which is piss easy to get, you could farm ultras for glimmer or pop those useless glimmer buff items and rake in the cash. I estimate that if a blue were 2k+ you could still abuse him to get packages faster than any other source of legendary engrams. It doesnt even take an hour to go from 0-25k with one of those buff items which by now we all have 50+ of each type. So as much as i would love this to happen i can see why they removed his upgraded sales from the beta version.
