As long as you sign in with the same account on both consoles, you will be able to switch back and forth as you please.

I take it this works for the xboxes as well?

it works for 360<->One and PS3<->PS4.

A final follow up: if I get the DLC for 360, will I be able to access it on xbox one? This might seem like a ridiculous question but I have to ask.
